2. We've lost 3 since early December... twice to Man City and one away at Liverpool.
WBA and Huddersfield at home - 4 points there and we're home and dry IMO. That would give us 36pts with a healthy GD, so effectively 37pts. That alone will do it, but we'll pick up the odd other win and draw from the other six games.
I think we'll see 41 points come the season end.
Decisive as fuck claiming every high ball (apart from one slight rick he got away with) and made the regulation save he had to.
The confidence he gives the back four is invaluable. He's a very good keeper and it's mental he's been fannying around in the Eastern League for so many years.
We were class today. Strong, decisive and positive all over the pitch. Diame and Shelvey absolutely bullied the midfield and there wasn't a bad performance in a home shirt.
By contrast, Southampton were pathetic. Pellegrino surely has to be getting the tin tack fairly soon.
I know mackems who eulogise over the likes of Cana and Mensah, players who couldn't be arsed to spend more than a season at the club
It'd be like us sitting reminiscing about Sibierski or Helder.
He was a repetitive arsehole who ruined the forum for a few years. Threads such as "who should be third choice keeper, Krul or Forster?" were derailed into old board vs new board.
Such a shame that he's had a back injury described as the worst he has faced in his career? And then being in and out of the side only to get hoyed in against the most attacking team in the country because Jonjo hurt his knee?
He's had about 3 or 4 good games in our shirt, lets not get carried away.
