Pantilimon comes in for Mannone tonight - get your money on Palace!
-
Agree, but still think Palace will pull it off. The mackems love to bottle a floodlit Monday night game.
-
Had a dece little win on Aguero FGS at 7/2 yesterday but little else this weekend. Going to be going on Palace tonight, possibly even on a handicap.
-
The Mackems don't have a very good record in Monday night games, and Selhurst will have a cracking atmosphere under the floodlights. Home win IMO.
-
I hope he shouted "You've hit the hazards!"
-
It looked like he'd completely overhit the cross at first, but it was absolutely perfect both in power and placement.
-
Despite his limitations on the ball, he does carry some goal threat at set pieces and doesn't have a bad shot on him. Both he and Janmaat both seem to have at least one attempt on goal per match, which isn't something I'm used to seeing from NUFC's fullback pairings.
-
Low scoring draw IMO. 0-0 or 1-1. Obertan's place will likely be taken by Gouffran because we'll need the graft away from home or some bollocks. Fully see us being outplayed by West Brom for most of the match but either Perez or Sissoko popping up with a moment of brilliance to snatch a fluky point and "keep the run going".
-
The only thing stopping us going down each year is the fact that there's guaranteed to be three or four teams of absolute dross managed by some no-mark dick in a cheap suit who will finish below us, despite what your mate Pardew might conjure up.
-
This week has been fucking ludicrous. Attwell in the City cup game - two clear pens Marriner in the Liverpool match - fucking garbage Oliver in the Manchester derby today - FOUR legit penalty shouts denied Swarbrick in the Tottenham/Villa game - horrendously biased towards Spurs No wonder the players pay no heed to the "Respect" thing, such laughably badly performing referees don't deserve any.
-
The Janmaat incident happened because the shit cunt of a ref refused to blow for about three fouls in the build up. Sammy was hailed over, a Liverpool player was pushed off the ball, another one of our lads got clattered, then Janmaat went flying in. Completely let the situation get out of hand. East Stand linesman was typically myopic too, shite.

I think Brendan Rodgers might actually think that he's Bono.
-
Have a feeling Cisse will be on the bench and it'll be Riviere and Perez up top, Obertan and one of Sammy/Aarons wide, central two of Sissoko and Colback.
-
Phil Jones went to Man U for like £16m after about 20 games for Blackburn, and Smalling was bought after 10 games for Maidstone and like 4 for Fulham. If the big teams are convinced he's good enough, there'll be bids.
-
The most impressive thing for me was he knew the exact right moments to draw a foul and relieve the pressure when we were under the cosh, rather than just belting it away and recycling Man City's possession for them.
-
Did the same as Shearer does to the mackems on MOTD; went a bit over the top in his praise of us to appear like an unbiased/balanced pundit.
-
He did better than I expected him too after 26 months out, like. Wouldn't say he was "shit" but aye, Abeid's immense performance certainly compensated for when he was clearly tiring (precisely why Janmaat was subbed and not him is a mystery to me). I am pleased for him that he's back to playing football and fair play for setting up the first goal, but I'd rather he didn't feature much more.
-
Score draw IMO.
-
Clearly my glass was too half-full here.
-
Aarons and Armstrong R.Taylor, Colback, Dummett at centre-back Looks like we're saving Perez for Liverpool then
-
Unused sub tonight, I'm telling yas.
-
Owen and Martins both scored some canny headers for us when given quality whipped balls into the area. That has nowt to do with height; it's movement and positioning.
