  1. Swansea -1 @ 9/4 Swansea -2 @ 13/2 Swansea to nil @ 21/10 Swansea 3-0 @ 14/1 Swansea to win both halves @ 4/1 Chucked thirty quid at the above and spread it across. All teams in League 1 to score @ 382/1 - £1 West Brom, Hull and Sunderland acca @ 40/1 - 50p
  2. Obertan and Gouffran.   Fair play to Alan, he's really working hard to get that payoff.
  3. aye. I'm going to get absolutely fucking wrecked when he goes.
  4. Despite all Pardew's bravado about needing to change the team, I bet Alsoran, Colback, Tiote, Sissoko and Riviere still start. Have a feeling he might "protect" Cabella in favour of Obertan or Sammy.
  5. Sherwood is as much of a cock as Pardew is but he sets his teams up to attack and he'd therefore be an improvement IMO. That said, I'd still feel a bit mugged off with him coming in once the initial euphoria of The Leaving Pardy wore off.
  6. Aye, and they beat his Chelsea side in 2005/6(?) 1-0 at the CoM, I'm sure David James saved a penalty. So one of the defeats was before the Man City money arrived.

  8. GW7 Hull 1-1 Palace, Leicester 2-2 Burnley, Liverpool 2-0 West Brom, Sunderland 1-2 Stoke, Swansea 3-0 Newcastle, Aston Villa 1-3 Man City Man Utd 2-2 Everton, Chelsea 2-1 Arsenal, Spurs 1-1 Southampton, West Ham 3-1 QPR
  9. Anyone unaware of John Sitton needs to watch the "Orient: Club For A Fiver" documentary which I believe is available on youtube. The bit when he sacks one of his central defenders at half time is incredible
  10. "Come on boys! Win the game"
  11. Gerrard is like Shearer in his final season (not as bad, but a similar effect on the team). Good for pens and the odd set-piece, good for leadership, but little else. I think they'd have been better off going for a stop-gap striker in the mould of an Eto'o or a Klose for one season, than going for Balotelli. Rodgers seemed to think that losing one controversial player meant he had to sign another one, except Balo has looked pap so far.
  12. The woman here is like Pardew, Robert Webb plays the part of this forum. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Zaq8MEOYq8o
  13. I think ineffective is generous, tbh. I wouldn't massively disagree with that analysis though. He's quite detrimental to our play most of the time. Again, this is Pardew's stupid infatuation with Tiote and having him on the team sheet every week, no matter who the opposition are, home and away. His debut at Everton showed he was a player who could retain possession, play short passes, win tackles, and generally spoil when we're under the cosh. He doesn't really fulfil any of those four functions properly on even a semi-regular basis anymore.
  14. Anita has performed well when he's been given a run in the team. Tiote is always put straight back in as soon as he's fit again, and is supposedly our midfield warrior who helps to shield the back four; except he's much better at gifting the opposition possession and being woefully out of position most of the time. Just because Tiote has cut back on the yellow cards a tad, quite a few people believe Pardew's guff that he's suddenly a disciplined and reliable player. He isn't.
  15. Hope we sell him ASAP. He's crap 9 times out of 10 and also blocking Anita's place in the team, though that is thanks to our dickhead of a manager. I was 'done' with Tiote after the 7-3 at the Emirates and I haven't changed my stance on that since.
  16. Boxing Day MoTD with the last of the cold cuts is as imperative to the festive season as Quality Street and arguments.
  17. Tonight's cunt list: Sporting - had BTTS in all the 7.45 CL games, 13/14 teams scored. Was 70/1 Millwall - had four draws in the Championship. Brighton/Cardiff, Wigan/Forest, Sheff Wed/Ipswich... and these cunts got beat at home off Birmingham (105/1) Andre Schurrle - had an Aguero and Schurrle FGS double and the cunt missed a fucking sitter at 0-0 (32/1) Agonisingly close but fuck all winners.
  18. (assuming he's still here) Pardew after Stoke: "we need to be better in the final third, I might need to change the formation or the players" Pardew 2pm Saturday: "Here's the team sheet: ...Colback, Tiote; Gouffran, Sissoko, Cabella; Riviere"
  19. He's a very clunky sort of player. I think being changed into an orthodox right winger hasn't really helped him, but that's not to blame for his dogshit first touch.
  20. Everyone hoping for a defeat has just had their prayers answered: Kamikaze Shithead Steven is playing and is bound to contribute to shipping a few goals.
  21. I'm a little bit less confident in win to nil than I have been lately, but I'll be on these again I think. Maybe Stoke to win both halves or Stoke BTTS too.
  22. His bruvver apparently. Name sweepstake? Micky Pardew
  23. Hibbo has kept Sterling reasonably quiet so far like.
