    Hatem Ben Arfa

can't wait to see him for the last 15 minutes against Liverpool then.
  2. Linked with Andreas Weimann in the Chronicle, I really really hope so. Said a while ago, I'd love us to sign him. Fantastic energy and tenacity as well as bundles of pace.

    Danny Guthrie

I don't think I've seen a player decline so much in our colours in such a short period as Tiote has over the last 12 months. He's gone from being our key player and midfield anchor to being an absolute fucking joke and a liability. It's such a shame.

Guthrie ran the show away to Stoke last season, the sort of game people like to see Tiote play in. That was more an exception than the rule though. Away games generally require a bit more 'digging in' in midfield and Guthrie usually looked plugged after about an hour or so. I'm still haunted by his non-performance at WBA in Hughton's last game.

I'd 100% have him in ahead of Tiote at the moment, definitely not ahead of Sissoko though, that's absolutely barking. As for the other two, it would depend on the opposition and venue of the game. I'd rather see Perch in an away game than Guthrie, for example.

    Alan Pardew

The modern Premier League side definitely needs some height in it but it shouldn't be the first consideration when signing a player.
  7. I fucking hate the expression 'penciled in' because with Pardew he always fucking rubs them out a day or two before the game.

I wish we had a manager who actually sounded like he was confident before games. Hughton was a fucker for it (Scunthorpe away: "our plan was to come here and do well" and saying "another difficult game" before basically every Championship fixture) and Pardew does it as well, fucking celebrating a point away at West Brom and being delighted at edging past some of the mid-table/relegation fodder at home by the thinnest of margins. He even said Stoke and Bolton at home would be really really tricky when we were on that immense run last year. I'm sure he's said in the past we're a big club and should be looking to win every game; this season there's been so many times we've been set up to draw or keep it tight that it's just not funny.

Inspirational. bare minimum please lads, don't bother winning any. Couple of draws will do.

Think it also had a lot to do with Ba wanting to play centrally. A manager worth his salt would have found a way to accommodate both Ba and Cisse centrally without resorting to the tripe that Pardew did. Alright, the wide options were poor so a conventional 4-4-2 was always going to be tough, but hey, why not try it for 7 or 8 games on the bounce (and completely kill Shane Ferguson's confidence by subbing him at half time every week?).

Amazing to think that a one-off admittedly shit 4-0 defeat like that caused him to change tack so quickly after an amazing run of form, but even that run of 12 defeats in 16 games has seen him persevere with the same unbalanced garbage tactics and formation all season long.

Maybe if they stick Sandra in the sun she'll start to melt after a while and then she'll look a bit like her fella.
  13. Is he explaining why he chipped it and admitting he's a massive div? Just said it was for the lols. In other news there's a bloke on with the most horrific fashions seen this decade. Is Clem still wearing those awful sandy beige colour trainers and sitting with one foot on the couch like a fucking cunt? Not watched it this year.
  14. I didn't see an option to do that but I did wonder why it didn't look quite right. Cheers.

The only time this season I would have really bought the 'tired from the EL' excuse would have been Atromitos away and the famous Notting Hill Carnival line. Thursday night to Saturday was maybe a bit much and it was a hard game away at Chelsea anyway. Otherwise, it's pretty garbage. I think it's cos he has said it so many times; if it was a one off thing you could probably buy it.

I didn't watch it either and I had a fucking belting weekend, funny that.

They're gold dust when you've only won once away from home in the league all season. If we'd posted five or six away wins before now then suddenly they aren't fucking 'gold dust' at all
  18. Racist, please ban him Mike.
  19. He'll start looking excellent next season IMO. This is regardless of whether Pardew stays or goes fwiw, just to break the trend a bit
  20. Go and talk to Skirge in the chat section, he'll be pleased to hear from you.
