    Chopra

He's a whinging little shit who isn't good enough. No.
  2. Where's that from, and does it say why?
  3. Poacher? Nice finish last week One swallow doesn't make a summer.

    Harry Redknapp

The thing that annoys me is that he still has this 'Harry's a wheeler dealer in the transfer market, always manages to duck and dive and get a few bargains' persona that comes from the press, whilst they casually ignore the huge sums of money he spends each year. He's also a blinky cockney spiv who taps up players by calling them 'triffic' and asking "who wouldn't want to sign him?" in every press conference and gets away with it every time.
  5. As if Stoke have £14m to spend on one player.

    Football pet hates

Agreed. The worst example of which was when we wore that sky blue away ensemble in the Wear-Tyne derby under Fat Sam, fucking mental decision that was.

    The Loan system

I thought the limitations were on clubs being able to loan IN players opposed to loaning OUT. Forgive me if I'm wrong but I didn't think there was any limitations on how many players a club could loan out at a time / in a season.

    The Loan system

Disagree that it should be scrapped entirely but do think there should be a cap on how many players under a certain age can be loaned out by one club, opposed to a cap on how many can be loaned in by one club. Loans for players under 24: - there should be a limit of roughly ~2 long term loans FROM each club per season. - there should be a limit of roughly ~4 short term (3 months or less) FROM each club per season. I think for players that are 24 or older, loans are usually for reasons such as them not getting first team football but there being no firm interest in buying the player, or because wages can't be fully afforded by the loanee or the loaning club. Therefore I'd not have things as strict for the older players.
  9. Cleverley would be good as he can play across the midfield, and I think he will be a player.

    Dan Gosling

If that is your greivance then I don't get why you aren't pleased - he's free. I could understand if we'd just paid £6m for the lad or something.

    Dan Gosling

Sorry about that by the way, shall we get back on the blower to Nicky and beg him to sign another deal? We've done the 'experienced campaigner for big money' transfer policy to death and the result was a year in the Championship. Signing younger players who will garner experience by playing and signing them for good prices that represent value in the current economic climate doesn't sound too bad in comparison, not to me anyway.

Exactly how anyone can look at this deal and consider it bad news is beyond me. I bet you'd be the same if we hadn't signed him - pissed off at the lack of signings instead of the quality of them.

Forgive me for not creaming my pants about bringing in a free transfer with a serious injury and next to no experience. No-one wants you to cream your pants, and I haven't creamed mine. You just have a very negative outlook on basically everything that happens at the club.
  14. He's probably disappeared off the Villa one too, seeing as MON has forgotten he ever signed him.

malandro's wife/husband/carer/significant other - if you can see this: Please stick some prozac in his coffee. Signed, everyone
  16. One of my mates saw that on his wiki last week, funny isn't it.
  17. Didn't Miller manage ~10 goals in that shit Derby side? I don't want us to get him, but I don't think he'd be as bad as some are making out if we did.
  18. Bit risky playing Krul that far across the pitch, non?
  19. we just get it some months if there's NUFC games or games we want to see on. £20.50 for SS1 2 and 3 isn't that bad.
