I really have to say this. You are advocating the club becomes a feeder club again ? Do you think Newcastle are a big club or a small club ? There's not much you can do if the top clubs come in really. Were we a feeder club when we sold Woodgate to Real? Real Madrid are one of the worlds biggest clubs if not the biggest. Its a vast difference. You tell me how many players in recent years have wanted to leave the club and how many times we have been used or seen as a stepping stone to one of the "top clubs" as he says. Warren Barton is an Arsenal supporter and he chose us before Arsenal. People such as him and Rob Lee are both cockney lads but neither saw any other club for them but here once they were here. To suggest we should bring on kids and develop them to make a profit by selling them on for a profit is straight back to the 1970's and 1980's. What we are seeing now from this club is stepping back in time to those days with scenarios like this. I'm not going to explain this further. If you don't understand or don't want to, fine. That was years ago when we were a force. At this point in time we are pretty much a nothing club in a relegation scrap with a questionable manager and a board that probably doesn't want to be here. So you tell me why its a surprise that players want to leave our club for the likes of Arsenal who are one of the top 10 in the world.

We pretty much almost always royally f*** up when we attempt to be defensive. I say we have a go because I seriously doubt we will get anything from the game if we huddle in our own half and hope for the best.

Because to Man U it's just another trophy and one they don't particularly give a f*** about, whereas it would give Spurs something to crow about and give them a much needed boost when they're our bedfellows at the wrong end of the table. How could giving relegation rivals a boost be a good thing? I remember at the beginning of the season how fucking annoying the Spurs fans were with all their signings saying they were going to challenge for the top 4 spots laughing about the whole Modric thing. I can’t stand Spurs I'm glad they lost and I hope they keep on losing. Also I bet that trophy means something to Foster.

I didn't know that there were compensaiton packages for such a scenario, who pays the clubs?

Now I know this is a bit grim but I was thinking what would happen if the England first team + subs were lost on the way to a major competition, a plane crash or something. Which players would be chosen to make the step up to the national team? What would it mean for the future of English national football? Also what consequences would this have on the premier league and future title hopefuls? Thinking about it teams like Man U and Chelsea would lose some key players while the likes of us Fulham even Arsenal now I think about it would stay pretty much if not entirely intact. Discuss.

He does not play that much for the U18 so he is hard to track as the team below results are not published. I saw him for about 10 mins when he made his debut for the U18s as a sub against Barnsley & he was nowt special. Cheers.
