Good week thanks to Costa, Sanchez, Evans, Vertonghen and Alonso. Kind of happy about Aguero's suspension because I've talked myself out of replacing him lately. Hazard & Defoe in for Snodgrass & Aguero

Down to 7. -
Sounds like Leicester have agreed to buy Wilfred Ndidi from Genk for £15m. They're hoping he'll be a better Kante replacement than Mendy.
-
Very nervous about this - Forest have had a whole week whilst we've just played 120 minutes, plus travelling. Hoping for an ugly, lucky 1-0 win.

Looking at the positives, we might be able to recoup half his fee in January.

Keys – not quite yet the post-millennium leviathan “Keysey” – came with an avuncular face that vaguely recalled Bungle from Rainbow and suit jackets made from packets of the least desirable Opal Fruit flavours. The 1995/96 season represents an accurate snapshot of the closing stages of the Proper Football Man era. All 20 Premier League clubs had a British manager, before the likes of Colin Todd, Frank Clark and Joe Royle were finally displaced by mysterious foreigners with their “pasta” and “ideas”.

I don't think I'll ever stop smiling after today's piece of art  I mean, it was perfect. We lost another home game and that's rubbish, yet I was jubilant at 5pm! Just hope it didn't go too far today..... he can't get sacked until he takes them into the bottom three, at least. But this is beautiful.

Sigurdsson if Swansea go down
-
He'll not see out the season if they're in real relegation trouble. He'd be sacked by March.

20 years on from Ali Dia, Spurs flop with Alli-Dier.

Glad it's backfired on him and wouldn't go near him if we get promoted. Hopefully he goes the other way with twatcunt himself.

Newcastle United promoted back to the Premier League

As a general measurement, if our points total is twice the number of games we'll go up (eg/ 92pts from 46). 40pts from 17 games -
Newcastle United promoted back to the Premier League

We're relentless right now, I'm at 9.9. Ignoring the 'threats' of Reading, Huddersfield and Birmingham, we're essentially 14pts ahead of Norwich - unthinkable going into the 4-3. We may not win the league because Brighton look superb too, but just going up is what matters. -
Starting their survivial push earlier than normal this year. Damn.

https://www.theguardian.com/football/2016/nov/17/sunderland-lynden-gooch-david-moyes Sunderland’s Lynden Gooch: ‘People say bad things to me about the north-east but I don’t know why’ “A lot of people say bad things about it to me but I don’t understand why; the north-east’s very underrated. For a start it’s so beautiful – you’ve got great countryside and great beaches. And great shops in Newcastle. I’d love to stay a Sunderland player for a very long time. I’ve been here since I was 10 and this club has given me an awful lot. I’ve made friendships I’ll have forever.” Now he wants to give something back. “We know it’s hard for the people of Sunderland to be bottom of the Premier League – and especially when Newcastle are doing so well in the Championship,” he says. Mag bastard

Big blow for them, especially not being able to replace him for 2 months.

Conte has just said "All my players are available this weekend" at the Chelsea press conference Sanchez and Coutinho are the big worries now.

The deep sarcasm makes reading Mediawatch a daily pleasure, like. Absolutely spot on.

That Farage drawing got me howling. And the Sherwood salute returns

Charlie Taylor is good. He's a left back, so likely to join Palace.

Not only do I rate Sturridge, but I quite like the celebration
