We'd not be pursuing Remy if he isn't interested. Someone from his camp will have told us something.

I'm a bit more optimistic than Dave over those fixtures tbh. There's plenty of winnable games there, certainly enough to see us survive. It's grim that we're even talking about survival though, considering the players we have.

Anything other than a win here would be a disaster, without doubt. To be fair we did beat Wigan and QPR when we had to but still gonna be nervous as fuck this week. We lose and Pardew has to go. Krul Debuchy Taylor Coloccini Santon Anita Perch Marveaux Cabaye Remy (maybe?) Cisse .....but no doubt Remy will be on the bench (if he signs) and Jonas starts instead.

Cisse had no chance today, the only scraps he was given were in the air. Felt so sorry for him.

He did ok - I think I gave him 3 compliments in a row today, which says it all.

No change after that match. There were positives, there were negatives but the other scores really didn't help. All hinges on the Villa match for me.

Movement? What the hell is movement? Our playing style is embarassing at the moment - we just let Krul hoof it, the defender wins the header, they pass it around, we win the ball back, then pass it to Krul. Krul then hoofs it etc.

Saved us near the end today but is there a more depressing sight in football than a Krul hoof? We just give the ball away for free, for no reason.

Would've been happy with a point beforehand but we'll not play a worse opposition all season and we still couldn't muster a half-chance. Good to stop the rot and keep a clean sheet too. Today would've been fine had Reading not won, the table still looks uneasy. Krul, Santon and Colo played well.

Debuchy playing and having Jonas to protect Santon will hopefully see us defend better, then we just let Papiss do his thing.
