  1. so we're no closer to knowing what he'll do, but its obvious he still loves the club. like all players, his head will be turned when offers come in (and they will)....once that happens, they usually go. could go either way, but i'm leaning towards pessimism here.
  2. Feel sad for Plymouth, what they did for us was lovely. Chuffed that Southampton are back though.....teams promoted from League 1 regularly go for the double promotion. Now to get both Sheffields back!

    Players in public

Jose wasn't slouching and looking sad was he?
  4. Given Hughes, Woodgate, Coloccini, Enrique Solano, Tiote, Lee, Robert Shearer, Bellamy BENCH: Harper, Beye, Albert, Bernard, Dyer, Ginola, Speed, Ferdinand, Beardsley

    La Liga - 10/11

that is a bargain - what a player!! bit gutted though because dortmund are just getting good and now they're getting split up. looks like they're replacing him with Ilkay Gundogan from Nuremberg.
  6. The story of 'Old Yeller' comes to mind....

Can't wait for his next tweet. What's he gonna do next - buy an Aero from the shop? Shred some paper? More please, Michael.
  8. de Bleeckere (one of the referees that Mourinho slagged off on Wednesday night) has been made ref for Clasico #4 this Tuesday.
  9. 38 points, so not quite. They're away to two of those below them and home to Man United.
  10. Some great 'all on the line' matches coming up. Theres the match at Old Trafford, Spurs vs 4th and 6th place and relegation matches involving Wham, Wigan, Wolves and Blackburn. Really looking forward to them.
  11. Whilst Redknapp didn't get a striker, his three signings were VdV, Gallas and Sandro, all of which have been a success. Certainly doesn't feel like he 'fucked it up'. Mind you, if yous do ship a few, can we have Kranjcar or maybe O' Hara please? Thanks
  12. Jose leaving doesn't feel like the worst thing in the world any more, but if we can cheer him up it'd benefit us a lot more than the money. Can't see Liverpool being at all impressed by his 'performance' today.
  13. Yeah I think they'll just do it and Blackpool will go instead. But I'm sick of losing to Blackburn. This way Blackpool can plummet next season (which they would).
  14. Thats West Ham gone, thankfully. Hopefully Wigan and Blackburn join them....

    Arsene Wenger

I don't get it. After all the effort they put into self-destructing, they beat Man United? How does this work?
  16. I think if we weren't blessed with such a good transfer budget, i wouldn't bother with centre-back this year. But having this money represents a huge chance to find a partner for Colo that can represent a long-term partnership. Williamson's alright, but let's face it - he wasn't even brought in to be the permanent partner for Coloccini. We needed a centre-back at the time cos Taylor was injured again. It just so happened that he turned out to be a complete steal and a great stop-gap for a couple of years. But he's got blindingly obvious faults that mean it's time to replace him. Definitely. This cash is a fantastic chance to strengthen the spine of the team and finding a great partner for Colo would improve us so much.
  17. I think he's an ugly f***er. But thats just personal opinion. I debated changing the wording of my question in case somebody would make that joke, but I just decided "naah, surely nobody could be that lame." You've clearly overestimated me
  18. It said in the Sunday Sun that a striker, left back and central midfielder are our priorities, but I'd put a physical centre back number 3 in that list. It's becoming a weak spot.
  19. I think he's an ugly fucker. But thats just personal opinion.
  20. Carroll didn't score: CHECK Enrique having a stinker: CHECK The result: A bit inconvenient, but mehhhh
  21. Agree with Midds, Ronaldo and Pissi. Its a shame that Xavi has only became so appreciated in recent years, because he's one of the greatest midfielders ever. Daily Mail's "The best players of the world (and Xavi)" headline . Personally I didn't get the fascination with Zidane, so Xavi takes the crown.

    La Liga - 10/11

Can't believe this! As much as I love Mourinho, thats it for him now. The last few days have been a disaster and they won't turn it round at Camp Nou.
