im not a pessimist, and its taken a while for me to get to this stage.......but yes I would accept 17th. its not ACCEPTABLE but looking at our fixtures it might be the best we can hope for. if we dont get at least 4 points from sunderland and WBA, its over
-
haha ive just done the exact same thing. on excel. my results are (taking into account the occasional shock result and the end of season "rush" teams tend to have): 11 West Ham 43pts 12 Portsmouth 43 13 Bolton 41 14 Blackburn 41 15 Sunderland 40 16 Hull 38 17 Newcastle 37 18 Stoke 37 19 Middlesbrough 36 20 West Brom 33 Jesus!!!
-
its just sunk in now that we have some horrible fixtures. i got us going down with 38 points............losing to all of the big four, losing to spurs, man city and villa away. doesnt leave much left does it?? tricky away games to bolton, hull and stoke. OH DEAR
-
Agreed. There are people out there who get a kick out of challenges like this......imagine being the person to finally sort Newcastle United out?? They'd be immortal
-
saw this and almost smiled. http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/7835322.stm hopefully talking some sense into the cunt
-
kinnear, ashley, NUFC, kaka, redknapp.....these things and more are slowly turning me against the sport and obsession i love. this week i've said that im gonna try and stay away from football and be happy again cos i hate being this miserable constantly. it makes people around me miserable and the stress is probably making me ill. but as you can see, im back on the forums already. its so hard to give something up, no matter how much you really want to do it
-
omg pogrebnyak would be amazing. and that £40mill for terry will never ever be accepted. especially after the kaka tragedy
-
cant believe how jammy spurs are. they get inflated fees for berbatov and keane, are buying palacios, maybe appiah and i bet theyd get a massive fee for jenas. theres no justice. at least we havnt got the most annoying manager in the world.......oh yeh
-
papers saying that pennant's on his way to pompey. gutted once again. for £3 million thats a bargain....is this management team doing it on purpose? actually, dont answer that haha
-
did i mention i hated spurs?? lol gutted if you get palacios....
-
why the hell aren't we in for finnan?? premiership experience, £1 million, very good player........whats going on?? hull have got a bargain there
-
not too upset about being knocked out, just the fact that its at home to hull......... we need a witchdoctor in to remove whatever curse is at SJP
-
pazzini has joined sampdoria permanantly http://www.skysports.com/story/0,19528,12875_4794046,00.html

im a bit slow, are people actually joking with the "geremi's great set pieces" stuff??
-
betray football? good guy & mercenary? WTF... how old are you? a whole day of intense revision can do that to someone haha. i just meant i'd be disappointed in him, as we all would
-
If Man City pull this off, they disgust me. not as much as kaka would do, he always struck me as a good guy (unlike robinho the mercenary), so for him to POSSIBLY sign for them betrays football
-
Not that unbelievable.......Cologne are his hometown club doesnt mean he's not too good for them though. if mickey owen signed for chester city i'd be shocked haha.....

http://www.guillembalague.com/rumores_desp.php?titulo=Cristiano%20Ronaldo%20has%20agreement%20with%20Real%20Madrid:%20Exclusive&id=149 Balague's website has the exclusive that Ronaldo will be off to Madrid in the summer. Sick of the story already. Wonder if its true this time?? Probably doesnt belong here, but Bellamy's at it again: http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/sport/football/article2123887.ece?OTC-RSS&ATTR=Football Oh and also, Podolski is on the berge of re-signing for Cologne unbelievable
-
nah mate, im with you too. lots of posters on here say players "aren't good enough for us" and then they either turn out well, or they change their minds later on. jimmy bullard being the recent example. once riise plays one good game, the kneejerkers will say he's the best thing going, JFK's a genius etc. on a loan deal, i really dont see the problem. same with lovenkrands on a free........theyre not glamorous signings, but we need stop-gaps until the summer.
