It was a fair bit more than exaggerating tbf.

It is cheating like. It's exactly like feigning and injury or taking a dive. Just because there was contact, it doesnt mean Barton throwing himself to the ground isnt cheating. By your logic, if a player goes down after minimal contact, it's not taking a dive, it's not simulation. Undeniably. Conning the ref has got absolutely f*** all to do with it - it's just so far away from the point it's untrue. Gervinho's actions, a million per cent, deserved a red card, whether Joey goes down or not. It brings up another question, too. If the ref had seen that it wasn't a foul (demonstrated by the play-on) - why wasn't the guy reprimanded for diving? All in all, it would have been a crazy injustice had Gervinho finished the match. Barton just made sure of it; well played lad. Conning the ref has everything to do with it. If Barton hadnt threw himself to the floor would Gervinho have been sent off? Debatable. Yes, Gervinho raised his hand, yes he deserved to go, but for me you cant deny Barton helped the ref make up his mind. I do Like Barton. He's a good player and integral part of the team for me. Think he gets too much stick for his comments at times but he cheated like, without a doubt.

Think I'd cream myself If Podolski came here. Not that it'll happen like.

Nail your colours to the mast before 1730 (13/08/11): Where will we finish?
Doctor Zaius replied to James's topic in Football
Cant beileve the amount of people predicting us to finish in the top half like. With this squad, absolute no chance tbh. -

He scored 9 goals last season. The ever fruitful Best has only mustered 9 goals in a season once before.

Nice to see KaKa was insightful as ever back in 2008...

Stirling Albion V East Fife Stevenage V Exeter Preston V Colchester Huddersfield V Bury Brighton V Doncaster Reading V Millwall 66/1 PSG, Huddersfield, Bayern Munich, AC Milan, Barcelona, Crawley, Celtic, Leicester all to win their leagues. 2500/1 I think -
From what I've seen of Onuoha he's always struck me as more of a centre half as opposed to a full back. Fairly solid in defence but offers little going forward. Dont think he's worth 6M like.

Van Nistlerooy and Pique both wanted to leave. His hand was forced.
-
Bwahahahahahahaha What a great argument. It's true though. Yeah there's exceptions, but it's not often Ferguson lets a young player who's worth his salt go unless his hand is forced like. Forlans a fair point but he was an expensive flop, something Obertan isnt. Rossi is afiar one, but didnt he want a way for first team football he wasnt going to get at man utd? Same as Pique?
-
If he was good enough,Fergie wouldnt be letting him go.
-
He gets to visit Sunny Ashington tonight. What more does the ungrateful little cunt want?
-
Fuck you Barry McIntosh.

Id love Trezeguet here like. Amazing player back in his day. Scored 12 last season, wouldnt mind a punt. Not that itll ever happen like.

I didnt sayCarroll was worth 35M, but regardless thats what we sold him for. Then when you add Nolan on for 4.5 and 2.5M for Routledge, it's looking like around the 42M mark for incoming transfer fee's to me like.
