The players we sign under Pardew simply aren't a long term investment because the majority will regress under his archaic football thus we fail to maximise the resale potential that has underpinned all of our acquisitions in the last half a decade. Furthermore our 2014 so far suggests that things aren't going to improve. Ashley would be forced to sack him if he carried on with this form, then you've got to expect a new manager to come in and work with a players signed over the summer when he wasnt there. Those lot down the road are evidence that its incredibly difficult and takes time. Whats more than likely is that we'll spend little and we'll continue to struggle. Those defending Pardew argue that our poor form is down to a lack of signings, so therefore if we plan to spend nowt, whats the chances of our form changing under Pardew with practically the same group of clearly unmotivated players?
