Pretty impossible to predict tbh. You've had teams like Sunderland, Ipswich and Reading come up and do very well in their first season. Then you've had teams cruise the championship and go down with a whimper such as Sunderland and WBA. If Ashley gives Hughton a bit to spend and backs him fully, then I'd expect us to stay up. If We go through the summer and start the season with very few improvements then I reallu couldnt see us staying up.

I quite like Glenn Roeder. He's a likeable guy imo, just a shit manager.

Is the Intercities Fairs trophy considered a major trophy? Am I right in thinking it wasnt an invitational trophy AFTER 1968? It was considered the runners up cup. One of my posts has made it onto some mackem messageboard http://www.readytogo.net/smb/showthread.php?t=482029 EDIT: I've just realised who the lad is on there laughing at my mistype. I might not can count, but at least i can pass GCSE maths.

^ That place is normally full of the My Brothers, girlfriends, dads, cousins friend who was in the RAF, his daughter met shearer and said he was a cunt. Congratulating Julio Arca man, that would have been just after Shearer had smashed one in on the way to a 4-1 thumping in your own back yard then?

So you lot dont rate Cahill dont yous? -
This gets on my cheb ends. Why the f*** would you claim to be something you are not. The whole Irish thing gets me as well, "Oh, my great great granny was Irish, so I am." Nar mate. Who claims to be Scottish? I just support Scotland, my mam is Scottish but I was born in Ashington. Why on earth would you choose to support Scotland? I cant think of any other choices to compare it to its thast bad of a choice. Why on earth would anyone choose to support Newcastle if they weren't born nearby? Everyone will have their reasons, weather its parents, or they caught your eye when you were a kid. However picking a nation thats football team is one of biggest failures going is a little strange.

Meh, Thats more exposure for him, thats him over hyped a bit more, meaning theres more chance some cunts will pay over the odds for himin the summer. -
I always thought he underrated himself a little. When he agreed to sign for Galaxy he was out of the Madrid team and was under a fair bit of critisism saying he was finished. I think he probably thought he was finished too so he headed over to Galaxy for one last pay off.

The worst ones are the English folk who like to think their scottish. A truely bitter nation of people. I'm in the middle of Scotland when the world cup finals on, I'll love it if we win.

City are spineless. Mackems get something here and they're pretty much out of trouble tbh.

Aye, thats right Chris. You bring on a man who's gonna clinch the winner, Nicky Butt. Dont bother thinking about if we go a goal down, Nicky Butt is exactly the type of player who we need when chasing a game. Shit negative tactics has cost us this. Not for the first time either. How the fuck does he expect to defend a 1-1 draw with a defence of Kadar, Hall and Raylor ffs.

Peter Storrie has walked out on them now, said he coulsnt tolerate anymore abuse. I always thouht he came across as a good guy who genuinely wanted the best for them. http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/2010/mar/12/peter-storrie-leaves-portsmouth -
