  1. I thought Southgate wasn't bad when I first heard him. The majority are cunts tbh, but the ones that stick out as the most cuntish are; Mark Bright, Mark Lawrenson, John Barnes and the ultimate cunt, Andy Gray.
  2. Got to sit in the Kop with the bin dipping self pitying cunts later this month. Not particularly looking forward to it. Though it'll make it more bareable watching them beat Sunderland
  3. serious? Indeed I am. might want to read the first line of my post again! Totally missed that bit, sorry mate.
  4. They want it too much and are too impatient to give a good manager time to create a balanced, cohesive team. Just like the geordies. aye but it's our god given right to win everything though isnt it?
  5. At Madrid though, winning the league isnt enough, it has to be won with style.
  6. Look at Milans bench man, It consists of Players aged; 36, 32, 36, 33, 33, 38 and 33. You might not win anything with kids but you sure as hell dont win anything with a team of pensioners.
  7. Peter Ridsdale should be well and truely banned from ever coming near a football club ever again tbh. Cardiff are the 3rd club that's got into dire straights financially under his stewardship. What an utter cretin.
  8. In what way is Shearer Gutless/Spineless or a quitter!? What a bizzare choice. I dont get Harper either, he strikes me as the type of guy who just wants a quiet life. He's not interested in moving away, or moving his family, he's not interested in higher wages or furthering his career. He's happy at the club he loves. Dosent mean he should be lauded as Spineless and gutless though.
  9. So when you sit in the home end, what do you do when they score? Jump up and down and pretend to celebrate, or just stand there like a lemon? I don't think I'd ever bother going in the home end like, for me the whole point of seeing the lads live is that you can scream and shout, have a sing, and go absolutely mental with 3K of other fans when you score. Each to their own and all that though
  10. So as we have played pretty grim football most of this season would you prefer to stay in this league instead of what we have witnessed? Or is it selective your stance on 'playing football'? I want to see us try and play good football and then see what happens. We could have stuck with Fat Sam and probably stayed up playing s**** football but its not what myself and a lot of other Newcastle fans wanted. I don't want to see Newcastle play grim survival type defensive football for any length of time. For me its not what Newcastle are about. You may not agree with me but don't think I'm disloyal or try to imply it like the t*** in the previous post did. Is it actually possible to come up and stay up without playing this grim survival type football though? I cant think of many teams that have, Norwich and West Brom both stick out as two sides that played good football yet went down. Wigan play some decent stuff at times and are struggling more so than they did under Hoofball Bruce. Surviving has to be the prime objective, whatever the style of football. Once we get a firm footing in the league then maybe we'll think about playing more attractive football.
  11. tbh, I couldnt care less what Football we play. At the end of the day its winning what counts, and if playing long ball, anti football is what it takes then so be it. I'd sure as hell rather be playing like Bolton when they finished 7th than get relegated playing nice attractive football like West Brom and Norwich did. I tend to look at it this way; we come up against a side, play some cracking football, but get beat 4-3, I wont come away from SJP happy that we played some nice stuff, I'll be as disappointed as ever, whereas if we won 1-0 while playing hoof ball tactics I'll be happy as larry, no matter what brand of football we played.
  12. Must WIN tonight for them. Though having said that the same has been said for the past 3 games or so. The annoying thing is though, even if they get beat tonight, they wont go down due to the utter terribleness of Hull and Burnley.
  13. Definately. Very good little player. I dont think he'll be in 'arrys first team plans next season and I cant see him wanting to sit on the bench. The lad would be a cracking signing imo.
  14. Villa signed him for £5M at that age I think. Though he didnt do well there. He'd only made 6 or so u21 apps so there could be hope for Carroll yet.
  15. He'd be stupid not go for it, a chance to play at a major international tournamen ....oh wait, best stick with England Andy. Nah in all seriousness he might aswell go for it, he's not going to ever get in the England squad and he's better than Iwelumo.
  16. What about Jermaine Pennant? He's having a bit of a nightmare in Spain isnt he? Proven Prem player, only 27. Very good for Birmingham a few year back. Would do for cover or challenge Routledge for a place, even if he is a bit of a cunt.
  17. It all depends how Hughton spends. Centre Midfield is the key I think. Part of the reason we went down last season was that whenever the ball was played into midfield, we'd lose possession and pressure would be heaped onto the defence. It dosent matter who you have upfront, if you dont create chances you dont score. Bringing in Routledge and giving a bit of balance to the side will go someway to solving our chance creating problems. We definately need a creative playmaker, is Guthrie that man? I'm still unconvinced tbh. I dont know if he has enough about him to solve our creative woes. A goalscoring striker is vital too. I dont think Lovenkrands, Ameobi or Carroll have enough about them to get enough goals to stay up. The less said about relying on Leon Best to keep us up the better tbh. We could do with cover/ someone who can challenge for a place at Right back and left back. I'd look into getting Van Aahnholt on loan again possibly. We also need cover on the right wing, Routledge is our only out and out winger, lose him and you lose alot of balance. So yeah, basically what Leeds Mag said.
  18. I also have Leeds to be relegated. I did mention it was a mixture of realism and emotion...so mackams to go down is nailed on. I hate Hull and want to see N'Zogbia in the Championship. Its not an impossibility. Someone would sign him. Wouldn't be surprised if he left anyway tbh He'll go to Arsenal. Or so he thinks.
  19. Be careful lads. Criticising Mike is out of order after all he's done for us. Obviously not proper "supporters" are we.
  20. 1-1 draw I think. A scrappy affair, we'll play poorly as per usual away from home. We'll take the lead and then they'll nick it with another handball goal. cheating cunts.
  21. Certainly cant see Hull staying up like. Not even the influential Bullard will save that rabble.
  22. The premier league must be one of the most over hyped products ever. David Gold was on Radio 5 earlier saying that it is best league that the world has ever known. What a load of bollocks, its in Sky's interests to perpetuate this myth for obvious reasons - the reality is a totally predictable, uncompetitive league which is killing the domestic cup competitions, loads of dull games with most teams scraping around for bore draws and enough points to stay up That will be us next season - what a treat to look forward to Couldn't agree more. It's a complete myth, best league Give me Germany any day, where fans are actually treated with respect. Modern football is s****. Exactly. I'd rather follow the French league tbh, it's a shit standard but hey at least it's interesting. The relitively small club that is Sochaux are 2nd, they were only promoted a few seasons ago. The atmosphere's are also much better too. The premier league is boring, predictable and totally and utterly plastic. Cant see it changing either.
