  1. Genuinely not sure why we signed him when we had just splashed out 40M on Gordon. Either they were writing Gordon off after his fairly poor start, trusted Murphy/Almiron to do a job longer term or assumed you'd be able to play one of Gordon or Barnes on the right. All of which are wrong. We have two quality left wingers, neither of which are effective on the right, vying for one position. While we have quite obvious weaknesses elsewhere.
  2. They should be asked, they should be told. At the very least, we should convert part of the Gallowgate to safe standing. Whether it's lower, middle, upper, or half the stand. Anyone who doesn't want to stand should be given the opportunity to move elsewhere, theres plenty who will want to stand. You'll get some entitled ones who'll trot out the "why should I move I've been sat here since 1896" but that's tough. They'll be drowned out by those who recognise a need for the change in atmosphere.
  3. I was middle of the Gallowgate and while there was nothing around me, I thought it was alright from the upper Gallowgate and corner.
  4. Lack of final ball/quality cost us today. That cutting edge would have seen us at least equalise and possibly go into the break one up. I thought Isak was as poor as he's ever been for us. Movement off the ball was lacking. Gordon's finishing is off the boil. Barnes wasn't great when he came on but he must be scratching his head as to why Jacob Murphy starts ahead of him. Lewis Hall and Dan Burn (who's been our player of the season) were excellent I thought. All in all though, we look somewhat languid and bereft of ideas. Like the squad needs a jolt and something fresh. That's what you get when you don't improve the first XI for two windows in a row. Howe and the players have been hung out to dry somewhat im afraid. On a side note I thought Baleba was brilliant for them. 20 year old and absolutely bossed the midfield.
  5. Sack Fergie, cancel staff lunches, redundancies. A drop in the ocean compared to what they waste on the rubbish that they sign
  6. A sandstone facade might look absolutely class, or terrible. I cant decide. I really like how the main stand at Ibrox is made out of brick. A unique look compared to the glass and steel of modern stadia.
  7. I know it's been done to death but international breakers really are sickners. Full weekend to myself which would have been ripe for watching all the football.
  8. Genuinely not sure why you're upset about a hyperbolic post about Hugo Viana. His attempt to win the ball was woeful, his time here was underwhelming and his career suggests he was never cut out to be a top level footballer here or in La Liga. Either way, he left in 2006 so his footballing ability is about as relevant as patter about leaving the atmosphere.
  9. Weirdo behaviour, get fucked. It was tongue in cheek first off, and that Marseille game is etched into my memory. Even still, 8.5m was decent money back then and that attempt at a header _was_ absolutely pathetic. He was shite and the did fuck all with the rest of his career though, I'll stand by that.
  10. 0:21 for the most bottleless, pathetic, cowardly attempt at a header you will ever see. Should never be seen back at the club in any capacity for that alone. Soz if this brings back PTSD for anyone.
  11. Mostly, but not ones that were utter shit like Hugo Viana.
  12. Thought Livramento looked good when he came on against Everton.
  13. Dodgy keeper Fucking Wembley half empty too. Wankers
  14. Unfortunate for Carsley. Tries something new in a game that's ripe for experimenting, doesn't work and thatll be that for him probably.
  15. Wades into a thread trying to pull someone up in the most smarmy way possible but misses the point entirely, then admits he doesnt have a clue because he doesnt live here. Absolute Reddit behaviour.
  16. Could do with him picking up a few decent results tbh. Ideally want him to stumble on as long as possible because I have 0 faith in him making them a force again.
  17. The Premier League aren't half making an arse of running this league like
  18. I actually thought our general play was the best it's been away all season. Albeit against a shite side. It was the final ball and finishing that was poor. Not having a striker has cost us though. That's the top and bottom of it and that lies with those incharge of our transfer business - whoever that may be. Going into the season relying on Isak, who's injury record is patchy at best and Callum Wilson who is a complete and utter waste of time is ridiculous and it's come back to bite us. That's without considering the time wasted trying to pay 70m for Guehi, who's looked woeful all season.
  19. There's a happy medium though. A third choice striker who is actually able to step onto the field would be better than literally nothing right now. All ties in with an abysmal transfer window.
  20. Sorry but what was the point in signing this cunt? Villa got Duran for a similar fee and he was able to contribute last season. Can't even get on the pitch when we literally don't have a striker.
  21. Every game that transfer window where we've signed nobody looks even more criminal.
  22. October now and he's still nowhere to be seen, despite being injured in the summer. Can't wait till he leaves so he's not even a consideration anymore.
  23. Been the better side. No striker costing us again. Balls into the box not being attacked, wingers hitting the byline and nobody making that run.
