  1. Milan (and Serie A) fans struggling to accept reality like. They're the 4th best team in what is a second rate league. Players who want to be elite, don't want to be in Serie A. Even this season we seen Osimhen yapping about a move to the PL while his club was on course to complete a historic title win. Some would argue Italian football has only itself to blame, but rightly or wrongly that's the way it is.
  2. Juventus are a rotten club like. Constantly at it.
  3. ASM another Sissoko REgardless of a decent goalscoring return (6 in 32 the previous season btw) he's not good enough for a team wanting to consistently finish in the top 4 imo. Neither is Gordon either for what its worth but he might develop more.
  4. More to the point, Barnes is 25 and approaching his peak. Gordon is 22 and played over 100 fewer games than Barnes. There's more room for Gordon to develop as opposed to Barnes. If we're signing him to replace ASM, it's a drop off in quality. Regardless of how fit ASM is. We'll see like.
  5. Not particularly keen on this. Doesn't improve our first 11 imo. On the left we already have ASM who is better when fit, Gordon who is younger and Joelinton who played there when we played our best football of the season. Not really sure how much more Barnes offers. If we were going to sign a left winger, id want someone quality who improves the 11.
  6. 60m would be a gamble off the back of that injury though no?
  7. Impressive level of English that like. His wikipedia says he went to an International School but still, thats very good. Get him here.

    Footy trivia

3 CL winners there. Same amount as the German side had in the final.
  9. You want them to get a player thats effective at what he does? I want them to buy abject failures like.
  10. but but but he was begging to stay, he was crying bucket fulls of tears for Milan, he's been a Milan fan since the womb and there was no chance he wanted to go anywhere else, ever!
  11. Ornstein update is disappointing. Hopefully we've got something else up our sleeve.
  12. I would like to know whether we were actually in for him or not. It was too widely reported that he wanted to go to Spurs rather than here for it not to be true imo. Whether we wanted him and then backed out because he didnt want to come or whether we never made a serious approach for him in the first place. I was completely undecided about him as a player. Will be keeping a keen eye on him at Spurs.
  13. I was undecided with Maddison. His stats are good but every time I've seen him I can't help but feel that he wouldn't fit. At one point I thought he should be our number one target, now I'm not that fussed. Especially if we have something else lined up. Here's my prediction. He won't play another game in the Champions League again.
  14. Chicago style for me. Think theres a place in Manchester and one in London but basically nowhere does it in the UK. Would love to eat what I had in Chicago again. Chicago Town has a lot to answer for given the Pizza Pie's reputation.
  15. Hope we actually do sign another Italian. Can any of our squad speak it? Perhaps Schar, Krafth was there.
  16. How do you know he isn't happy to take this opportunity? If he's as driven professionally as he is he is on the pitch, hell want to win it all. He might well feel, having already won Serie A, that there's not much more he can do at 4th favourites for the title Milan. It represents a good opportunity, potential to win something even or, probably what he's thinking, stepping stone onto the world's true elite by playing in the best league. It's a hard pill to swallow, but for ambitious footballers, there's more to their career aspirations than playing for the club they support, we know all about that.
  17. Really hope he's joining for the right reasons and isn't being pushed into it. If it's true. I's a good move if he has the drive and professionalism to reach the top. It's not if Milan are pushing him into it for financial reasons or he just can't turn down the money. Not that this has been suggested, I'm just scarred by the likes of Luque and Thauvain. Encouraged by reports about his willingness to join however
  18. Imagine the utter fume amongst Italian football/Milan journalists if this came off. The salt, oh man, the salt.
  19. I can just about accept the argument they're targeting high profile muslim players with a big followings with the signings so far but if Hudson-Odoi goes, its blatantly obvious something has gone on behind the scenes.
  20. Cant see this one being a goer.
  21. Dodgy as fuck this Chelsea stuff like.
  22. Very frustrating seeing Chelsea get rid of their unwanted players. Koulibaly and Mendy have been absolute disasters, Ziyech didnt score a goal last season. Koulibaly has another 3 years on his contract and Mendy another two, same for Ziyech. There's no way any club was going to come close to matching their salaries. At best, they'd have been able to loan them out, or move them on while still paying a significant portion of their wages. Now, they're going to get rid of their wages completely, due to these Saudi clubs buying them. Getting ridding of these three, and Kante, who are all the wrong side of 30 is absolutely ideal for Chelsea and it puts them in way better nick.
  23. Steve Cooper because surely nobody is riding him by choice
  24. The Chinese League also had a limit on how many foreign players could play for a team. I don't know if Saudi does. Left CL Porto to join Championship Wolves, now off Saudi Arabia at the peak of his career.
