Only us, Fulham and Liverpool yet to sign any first teamers (who we didnt have last season). Its not that slow. Id take a younger centre half who can be blooded over time for Schar. We need a top class right winger to kick on though imo. Real opportunity for us in the league this season. Think Fullkrug would be good for West Ham. They repeatedly sign shit strikers and have been over reliant on Antonio for ages now.

Think its clear we're after a centre half and a right sided attacker. The right winger is more of a priority for me, so I hope we go big and also sign another quality centre half. I think another striker will be third on the list, but i suspect Howe will be happy going into the season with Isak, Wilson and Gordon as central striking options. Think we'll struggle to shift any of our lot but I really didnt see Anderson going.

If there's one criticism of Howe, it's that he demands constant intensity. I'd like to see England implement Howe's press in the heat and humidity of USA and Mexico 2026. Its almost bewildering that we got this far. Absolutely no discernable style of play. I felt more gutted when we went out to France in the World Cup because we looked like a side. Tonight was blind hope rather than expectation.

Part of the glory of being an England fan is the absolute prime saltiness from basically everyone who doesn't support us. The tears that will be fought back if we win on Sunday. Why was the BBC absolutely desperate to tell us how good England were throughout. Particularly at half time. We hardly turned it on and we're second best for large periods of the game. I don't think Bellingham knows where he's supposed to be, Foden is drifting about but he's not really finding pockets of space that you'd expect from someone clearly given a free role.
