Its probably a generalisation but players from Southern Europe particularly Italy are less likely to want to move to the North East of England. Its just so wildly different (especially if you're from Sardinia) and there's less pull given that Inter are a massive club and you dont have to move from Italy. Its not the same as South Americans who basically have to play in Europe. I think there's a reason why Italian success stories in the PL are few and far between.

I cant see this one happening. I dont like Edwards at all but I dont think he's winding folk up. Clearly, he's heard that we've made an enquiry for Barella, whether thats through his agent or Inter and wed be willing to spend 50m. Thats very much believable, Barella fits what we need. The Telegraph have put the word 'close' in there to generate attention and clicks and it makes it look a lot further along than what it is. The 'player will need to be convinced' line is doing heavy lifting akin to that of Ronnie Coleman. There's no suggesting we've agreed a fee, or any suggestion that the player has any interest in coming. Feel like this will go quiet as like the vast majority of enquiries we make about players. I'd be surprised if he wants to come here, Sicillian born and playing for the CL finalists. I certainly hope we dont throw money at him in an attempt to convince. We need players who want to be here. Mind, he might well fancy it and if he does, that would be unreal.

You have to question the ambition of any player preferring Spurs over us at the minute. London is obviously a better place to live as a millionaire, but is it as good for the career, where marginal gains have never been as important? Two England caps and one FA Cup, I'd have thought adding to that would be more important than living in London, where after you're done in 5/6 years, you can live for the rest of your life if you want.

The Bundesliga must be the most pointless 'top' league in the world like. Bayern win it every year and then sign the best players from whoever finished second. Quite often on a free. 11th in a row now and theyve signed Dortmund's left back for nowt. Waste of time entirely.

Would be daft to move to either of those. Forest will have a better season than both of those under Cooper. More of a settled squad, with a few smart additions will see them around the top half I reckon. Front three of Gibbs-White, Johnson and Awoniyi is good too. Cooper is way ahead of Moyes or Dyche.

Gordon is nowhere near and I suspect never will be as talented or effective as ASM. He's still our best winger and we should be looking for upwards of 40m for him. I think he might be off. Injuries have really held him back this year but I really don't want him to go. If we're planning to replace him with Anthony Gordon, were in for a ride awakening.

Would be quite funny him owning a club that has a statue of his nemesis outside the ground holding the FA Cup. Something he'll never do. It would also be quite funny if he tore it down out of spite too tbf

His assistant was Michael Beale who has the job now. Isn't particularly pulling up any tree's. Postecoglu going and Celtic having to replace him may have given him a lifeline though.

How did it make any sense to have 40 tickets in your name prior to December last year? What would be the point? We were giving away season tickets and every game went to general sale.

Wolves now in trouble with FFP. Its not becoming abundantly clear that FFP is there solely to protect the clubs at the top. When the likes of Wolves and Everton are trying to break into the upper echelons, theres FFP trouble. Different when the likes of Chelsea and Liverpool are spending without reaching the CL.
