The list of teams he's played against is fairly outrageous as well. Liverpool, City, PSG, Brighton, Milan and West Ham away. A proper baptism of fire. I think he's looked better too tbh. He'll get there given time and application from himself. Sometimes his short passing is off. No doubt he's still getting used to the pace and physicality.

You've got Anderson playing upfront and Isak on the left. No changes... -

Thought we'd see at least some rotation today. Fair fucks. Howe must believe we're fit enough. -

I dont mind Danny Dyer like, clearly very self aware and seems quite down to earth too. Anyway, into these -
St James Terrace is Grade II listed anyway. It's not biting the dust

I don't want to move like. No way. It's the location, rather than the stadium itself for me.

Are those three nations getting a pass into the World Cup on the basis they played in the first one? Chile, Bolivia and Peru also played in the 1930 one, why dont they automatically qualify? Sounds ridiculous.

Yeah. The Milan highlights on co.uk dont have commentary. One thing I noticed is how much corporate wank there is with UEFA. Not allowed to play Local Hero, has to UEFA's non descript music. Not allowed NUFC commentary on our own fucking game on our website, gotta shift ST holders for UEFA delegates. Can imagine there's tonnes of banal, irritating shit behind the scenes too. -

The extended highlights on NUFC.co.uk should have Ando and Raizor commentary. Would like to hear the Ray Hudson commentary too. They didnt play local hero as we walked out last night did they? Think it was some shitty UEFA music. Corporate cunts. -
Jamaal Lascelles (now playing for League One Leicester City)

He was my MOTM like. Thought he was absolutely brilliant. He looks so much better on the ball. That tackle on Ramos when he was clean through was something else. Really pleased for him. -
Best I've ever seen SJP. Was up in Level 7 and it was great up there. Voice is gone now. I genuinely think I almost fainted after Longstaffs goal. Very proud of us tonight. PSG fans were relentless but I can't say I'm a fan of European style choreographed noise lead by a drummer. Simply doesn't ebb and flow like an English away end and it becomes like background noise, it's almost like it has no relation to the football on the pitch.

Best Newcastle game I've ever witnessed. Absolutely special -
Almost a home game for Gala. You'd be absolutely fuming if you were a Man Utd fan like. Absolute state of their club at the minute.

Managed to swindle a ticket for this. Must say, while im excited to a degree, im also nervous. Understand the occasion and all but I hate seeing us get beat. Joelinton and Botman are the last two players I wanted injured for this. Joelinton brings so much to the press and always seems to play well against the bigger teams. Losing Botman goes without saying. With these two id fancy us to get a result.

Level 7 in that first championship season was quality.

Thatll 100% be the work of the same bloke that flew the plane. Darren Curry.

Tiered memberships can fuck off. Its just going to be more money fleeced and people paying more for a better chance of ticket. They should be cut off at the start of the season but I cant really think of a fairer way that just picking everyone out of the hat. Whatever system you implement, you're going to have the same problem. Demand massively outstripping supply. Thats just the way it is. Anyway, whatever they implement will be in the interest of taking more money, as if Silverstone and the likes give the first fuck about fairness. They've got commercial targets to hit and thats all they're arsed about. And I say that as 0/3 for ballots this season.

Wish refs would pull up their tactical fouling more. Its a big part of their game plan. They dominate the ball, then as soon as you win it back and look to break, there's a foul. They're able to regroup from the free kick and possession is up for grabs again, which they win and you're back on the merry go round. Winning a free kick in your own half allows them to get back into position and provides us with absolutely no advantage in comparison to the position you were in. Its never punished with more than a free kick which serves them and not us. Grealish got away with two and never came close to a booking. Persistent fouling should be totted up against the team as opposed to the player.

Both Burnley and Villa got 7k+ allocations last season. -
Hats off to Dummett and Lascelles. Very good. Great to see Joelinton looking fit again. Livramento quality. Everyone put a shift in.
