  1. Lose against Chelsea (most likely) and Blackburn win, then we're almost nailed on to go down. I'll admit, I shed a few tears tonight when they showed the table during the match. To think that we are now 3 points adrift of safety is quite a horrible feeling.
  2. I voted for Kinnear, but either way, option 1 leads to option 2 so...
  3. I said Kadar....but considering he's out with a broken leg it could be some time till he does. Lua Lua or Krul would have to be next, imo. People slate our youth system but when you see players like Alan Smith stating ahead of Lua Lua then its no surprise why its been a shambles for some time. Lua Lua would do a better job than Smith any day, imo.
  4. Is there a link to listen to the meeting?
  5. Could you imagine if Newcastle, Sunderland AND Boro all went down?! Christ...
  6. After having a long, hard thought about our situation and the lack of guts we have, I think we'll go down with WBA and Boro
  7. We'll either get raped 0-4 or draw 1-1. Something like that, anyway. Either way, we'll be in big, big trouble by Saturday 9pm. Most of the other teams around or below us are playing eachother the same weekend so the table could be looking really nasty.
  8. Doesnt matter who we put out there, if the dont have the balls for a fight and a scrap then we'll go down. Thank god Beye and Barton (seriously) are coming back soon.
  9. How do you know that? We could get hammered in both our games and Albion could win comfortably in there's. And yes, I am thee ultimate pessimist!
  10. I get a strong feeling them c***s might keep us up. They are now in freefall. Cisse and Jones looking like couldn't give a s***, Malwank looking exactly that. Sbragia shot to pieces tactically (probably worse than our clueless c***s). Man City and WHU (a) then Man U (h) there next three games. I would love nowt more than to see those pikey cunts go down!
  11. He's a good Championship player...if you know what I mean
  12. Just thought I'd bring up a horrible, gut-wrenching point: We are 6 points from 20th. We have Arsenal and Chelsea in our next two games. West Brom have Bolton and Stoke, both at home.
  13. You know how teams seem to celebrate surviving relegation as if they have won an actual trophy, I can already see myself, a split second after that moment of relief of having survived, suddenly being dperessed at the thought of next season. For that reason, I have to be honest, I am not even feeling nervous about the run-in I know exactly what you mean. It'll happen to me if that situation occurs. I'll probably be on a high for a day or two but then realise what awaits us next season...
  14. I read one a few years ago in 442 when he was still at Real, when apparently Guti said to him "Run, you fat f***!" during a game and Ronaldo responded by saying "I don't run, I score goals." Five minutes later Ronaldo had scored twice and turned the game on it's head. Ronaldo went up to Guti and said "Is that good enough for you?" I remember reading that as well. Quality.
  15. In terms of this, you have to feel sorry for supporters of teams such Luton, Oxford, (then) Wimbledon etc who missed what will probably be their only chance to watch their team play competitive European football. Probably diddled Everton out of a couple of European Cup last 4's at least n all. Aye, you certainly do. I've never thought about it that way...
  16. Since when has the club bothered to listen to the fans? That (well written) letter wont change a thing. I've given up any hope that the board will not appoint Kinnear. He'll be forced out by the fans at some time next season and we'll start all over again with another shit manager. I think there's a few more years of torment and pain awaiting us...
  17. Good job Liverpool havnt been to Roma recently. Their fans will somehow find a way to murder a load of Italians involving crushing them under a wall, and get all English teams banned from Europe again...
  18. :jesuswept: Who cares about drinking when fans get hassled for standing ffs? Watching a match in this country is an absolute joke, and fans are the last thing on the FA's agenda. well said. I hate the way fans are treated. It just makes me so jealous seeing places like Germany have such freedom in the stands.....English fans are treated like cattle.
  19. Agreed. Great to see him back. I'll never forget him in the 98 world cup, I thought he was magic. He was class in 2002 as well... Such a shame to see a player like him waste away...
  20. I think we should be more concerned with trying to bring back standing areas in the ground than allowing drink... Aye, I always see that end go mad whenever Everton score.
