Aye, Chris_R. Spot on, that. That just makes you realise the utter shit that we have to put up with.
  2. Why did Pardew have to switch Ben Arfa form left to right wing when he came on? He looked menacing up against Jack Colback, so far out of his depth against Hatem, yet we put him up against one of their strongest points in Danny Rose who, in fairness to him, didn't really put a foot wrong all game for them. Clueless. Also, the absolute state of those cretins. Got a glimpse of their ugly mugs when they were getting escorted. What a horrible bunch of cunts spitting at people like that and wrecking some blokes program stall. They have absolutely no class at all.
  3. It's hard to do that though when he's stuck out on the wing and shunned away from the centre of attention. If we were tactically discipline and organised, had two solid holding midfielder's with quality passing skills (Cabaye, for now) I would play Marveaux in the centre to play behind the striker and do what Sessegnon did today- drift, drop into space between the lines.

I looked at Pardew a few times and saw nothing from him, nothing. I honestly think our domination of Sunderland is over. Well, if they go down then I don't think so. I don't think it is, though. It would have been easier to think that after we got relegated, but any 'domination' they had certainly didn't last long. I hope they stay up so we can get them back for this next season. There's no way I want them to go down with this 'hit and run'. We're the bigger, better club and we need to show them that. Their first win at SJP in 13 years? Let them have their day. They'll always be in our shadow.
  5. Class player. Would actually flourish under a manager who isn't a negative prick.

Forget about Thursday night, fuck off if any one sees that as an excuse. He put out a poor team selection that night with today in mind, and now look what's happened! The fucking cunt. Think about how many clear cut chances we had (bar the wrongly offside goal)? A team with Yang-Mbiwa, Debuchy, Cabaye, Marveaux, Sissoko, Cisse and for parts Hatem Ben Arfa, and we can barely make them work for it at our place. Sick. Absolutely sick.
  7. Their goals were shit (from our point of view). - Sessegnons; why was he shown inside onto his stronger foot and not pressed hard? It was a gift and you could see it coming a mile off. - Johnsons; a good strike but what fucking moron showed him inside onto his stronger foot? He's nothing down the line on his right. - Vaughan; again, so much time and space to pick that out. By that stage we were not interested.

And their fans at the end singing, "We're having a party, when Stevie Taylor dies". Classy. Hope their trains crash.

Sessegnon was very good. He dropped in between the lines and we couldn't track him, he was also finding pockets of space (wasn't hard) and being direct, running at our fragile defence. Graham was decent, he held the ball up well and put himself about. Shame he's a little traitor cunt. Other than those two they were just well organised, actually wanted to win the fucking game and executed their game plan. I'm still sure they wouldn't have won if we had a good manager. But that hasn't been the case for a while now. They deserved it.

I hate Redknapp but I would have him here any fucking day as opposed to this Sunday league piece of shit. Unforgivable today. I would sack him on today alone. No fight, no spirit, no energy, no passion, no ideas, no organisation. No fucking clue.

Fuck off and don't ever darken St.James' Park again you disgrace of a man. What a fucking coward. I will never forget this.
  12. Last years home leg, 1-1, was the first I've ever experienced. Although the atmosphere was great, I think our turgid performance in the first half really knocked the wind out of everyone. We need to have the place absolutely fucking bouncing from start to finish no matter what tomorrow. No mercy.
  13. The nerves are getting going now, by tomorrow morning I'll be bloody sick! Still, it is the most chilled out I think I've ever been before a derby As people have said, make it absolute hell for them. Just watched the whole of the 5-1 on DVD, that is what you call an atmosphere, there's nowhere else like it in this country- any team would shit themselves. Lets send these horrible, fascist cunts into the Championship!

    I love this thread
  15. Nerves really starting to kick in now I hope we batter those horrible cunts so much.
  16. I would have said Benfica before last night, but I wouldn't have compromised our team selection like Pardew did- don't let the thought of the mackems interfere with one of our biggest European nights in years. Considering how last night went, there's absolutely no excuses not to pummel the mackems on Sunday. Realistically, its the only game left to play for in our season- win it and we're pretty much home and dry safety wise, and we win the derby. Sorted. No excuses.
  17. Not even close. The same match last season was mind-numbing. Most, if not all, of our games are absolutely awful. We play with italian pace and championship quality. Utterly minging. Obviously you don't watch Italian football very often then. My thoughts, too
  18. We're definitely going to lose this. Fulham will score and by the time we get our act together it will be 85 minutes too late. Also, why do we only ever attack with 2 (at max 3) players at a time? We really are so poor.
  19. I can see this being painfully predictable; we'll have a horror start (provoking a 'hangover from Benfica game' excuse), go 0-1 down to an awful defensive mistake at around 60-70mins, finally get going(ish) and pinch an equaliser. Making sure we keep ourselves sucked in down the bottom and, as already stated, make the thought of the derby unbearable. PM me if you're in need of a positive boost
  20. The PL is shit and overrated, but to say Benfica wouldn't finish in the top half? They are a good attacking side who pass and move well and have a clinical goalscorer in Oscar Cardozo. I don't watch them often, but they played a high line against us, which makes sense considering Cisse's awful offside trait and the fact that we struggle to keep the ball under pressure, often resorting to hoofing it/losing possession. However, it was obvious at times that they didn't have the pace to execute such a high line with their slow defenders. Despite that we should be disappointed with the manner of the loss, it was ours to lose and that we did.
  21. Our own undoing tonight. Another European capitulation. We're still not out of it but we're not dealing with teams like Anzi or Metalist any more, Benfica are clinical and the fans and team are going to have to be at their best to get through next week.
