  1. 1-0 NUFC. Marveaux to bend it on the top far corner, edge of the box, in front of our fans with 15mins to go. Nervous finish.

I think it would be foolish to buy into any of his 'sweet talk', regardless of our latest influx of quality. Pardew's talked a good game before but we all know how much of a mis-match the result is. Just beat Villa and keep fighting for your job.
  3. It's completely surreal that we've signed a competent CB. Absolutely surreal.
  4. We thought we'd lose everyone last time to be fair. I see your point, but I think that there was a large sense of guilt from a lot of our players who felt they owed us to stay and get us back up- plus, I think a lot of them had been so poor no one would touch them, especially on the insane wages they were on. This time its slightly different, our current squad (or best 11) absolutely shits on the other team the 08/09 team, imo. Bar the obvious Williamson and Simpson, there aren't many players this season where you can say they've been terrible. If Pardew's still here next season then there is no way any of our good players will stick around. Your last line is key. There's absolutely no way we can keep Pardew and expect things to come good. It's just petrifying to think that he could still be here next season (in the Championship)

  6. If we gone down we won't be coming back up any time soon. Krul, Santon, Coloccini, Debuchy, Taylor (most likely), Anita, Cabaye, Tiote, Ben Arfa, Marveaux, Cisse will all definitely be off, and that's not including if we sign any one decent in this window. And that's all from a weak squad as it is. Perch, Obertan, and Jonas would probably be gone too. The most likely left overs from this squad would be:Elliot, Streete, Campbell, Abeid, , Ranger, Ferguson, Good, Tavernier, Inman, Dumment, Newton, Sammy Ameobi, Shola Ameobi, Williamson, Ryan Taylor, Dan Gosling and Amalifitano. If we're lucky Bigirimana, Obertan and Perch will stay, but I wouldn't bet on it. Its incredibly depressing, it really is, but its now the position we are facing. Somehow. The bleak reality we face from relegation is that it won't be fun at all; we won't get the same crowds as last time, we won't spend to rebuild a team, we won't have a strong nucleus of a team to get us back up- no Coloccini's, Enrique's, Nolan's, Krul's etc. - we won't have a resilient spirit or a decent manager, we'll have very little to work with. And if you want the finer details we'll be playing with 'Wonga' on our shirt. We'll become another Sheffield Wednesday or Nottingham Forest, cast into Football League oblivion.
  7. Juventus 3-5-2 with Pirlo in the 'quaterback' role is great to watch. All about the right personnel, though. Interesting point though, bimpy.
  8. Class player, I thought he looked really good today and along with Cabaye was our best player. Has great movement and creativity.
  9. 18. Aston Villa 19. Newcastle United 20. Southampton

For me I cant see us winning another game all season under him. If we cant even beat Reading at home then who can we? Oh god, just thought about the derby

I certainly can't remember another manager having had as much patience with the fans as Pardew has. It's hardly the main point, but if any jip aimed at him was obviously audible, we're bound to get branded impatient or ungrateful by the media bods. Which, as I say, hardly matters... but will be irritating all the same. LWLLWLDDWLDLDWDLLLLWLLWLLLDL. Where does he own pride come it to overide his ego and arrogance. Surely he must start seeing it himself or is he really that arrogant. He's definitely that arrogant. No chance he's going to walk, just like Souness the only way to get rid is to sack him- which, very sadly, is not going to happen.

I thought this too. A lot of it is to do with last season, perhaps people are completely apathetic, but I'd give it one of two more home thrashings and the tide will really start to turn. Whatever it is, he deserve more abuse than either of the named two- I've never seen a side as bad as this in my time supporting NUFC, especially considering the players at his disposal. If you're considered worse than Souness' time up here then you're in big, big trouble.

Couldn't believe the 'Alan Pardew's black & white army' chant was so prominent in the SE Corner today. I was just shouting 'We Hate Sunderland' the whole time. I respect the fact that fans are trying to get behind the team, but what has this cunt done to justify any support from any one?
  14. The only thing that will make me feel better is seeing the bastard sacked.
  15. We're in freefall, it's going to take a lot to save us.

You don't need fucking 'tacklers' on the pitch if you can keep the ball you fucking cunt!

I doesn't matter who we sign, he's not going to get the best out of them and we'll still be in the same vain of form. Look at what he did today- against a team that hasn't won away from home all season- and tell me that a couple of signings will fix it, because they wont. He is what is primarily wrong with this team and he must go ASAP. We're certs for relegation now, there's no way we're staying up. I'd be surprised if we win another game all season with this fucking horrible, horrible cunt in charge. Pardew Out.
  19. Fucking c'mooooon! Trying so hard not to get excited but I cant help it!
  20. I just get more sick of football (in this country) every week. They were winless and bottom during October, and he's now got them playing well and getting results with a very mediocre group of players. It's absolutely ridiculous. He comes across as a very nice guy, I feel sorry for him. If he can get sacked then surely after tomorrow Pardew can.
