But for the last 2 months I'd agree entirely Ronny, but Gerrard has been a driving force for Pool and complete leader. Ramsey has faded when Arsenal needed him most. Well, no. He's been injured for the last 2 1/2 months.

Honestly didn't even know we were playing tonight. Apparently we've just got a bunch of A-League players out there.... and Chris Wood.

Derailment. Train track is a mag innit.

Anything but admit they should've gone with Mourinho huh?

That would be the best outcome (no idea how the hell they didn't get it in the first place, obviously didn't learn their lesson about greasing the right wheels after the 2016 Olympics fiasco). Football was dead there when they got it in 1994 and they still set the attendance record. Imagine how much better it will be in 2022 with the sport very much established over there. Still pissed about this. Could literally walk out my front door and be surrounded by Olympic events but we fucked it up. We had our fucking A-team up-to-bat for it too. Obama, Oprah, MJ, and Phelps. We'll get the WC again soon, by default if nothing else. Amateur mistake. The IOC is the only organisation in the world more corrupt than FIFA, you could've sent Peewee Herman and Jerry Sandusky out and succeeded as long as you armed with them briefcases stuffed with currency. -

at Brisbane as a maybe... I'm sure the 50,000 seater world class Suncorp Stadium will be able to hold it's on. I think the soon to be 53,000 capacity Adelaide Oval can cope as well. Don't think we would be an option as a co-host, Eden Park and the Caketin are the only two stadiums we have that would be up to standard since the earthquake leveled Christchurch. Pretty sure Toonpack has said in the past on Toontastic he isn't even really a football man. Asley or him? If it's him why is he trying to lecture others? Toonpack, yeah. Been spouting his wannabe wall street shtick for awhile over there.

You suck Mcbain.

Definitely wasn't the right fit for him, probably something he figured out early on. He had the same problem with the Italian media but had the right club and squad to use it to his advantage. Should've gone after they won the league, probably would've quit that year to head back to Chelsea if they hadn't shat the bed against Bayern in that semi final shoot-out.

He did exactly the opposite at Real Madrid, particularly in his last year there. Always deflecting blame. Exactly. Wait till stuff doesn't go his way, it'll all be 'players who betrayed me etc' like last time he left Chelsea. Ummm, no. Chelsea 1.0 was all Jose vs Roman and his cronies. Oh yeah, Jose battling that cunt who give him hundreds of millions to build a dream team. May have had something to do with appointing Avram Grant (lol) and Frank Arnesen (at least that kind of made sense if they could've worked together) over his head and spunking 30 million on Shevchenko when he wanted Eto'o. And Madrid's just a clusterfuck no matter who's there, rumors are popping up already that they are ready to rumble Ancelotti if he doesn't win the La Liga or the Champions League. Whole situation was weird, Ronaldo has said he'd work with him again and despite being the cause of it all, Ancelotti still has Lopez as his number one over Iker.

We just can't expect to compete with sovereign states like Delaware.

Winning the treble with Muntari playing 40 games has to be close.

Must be where the Mackems do all their of the business during the transfer window.

Wenger beating Mourinho

Wouldn't surprise me if Man City still tie it up or even nick a win somehow, but Pelligrini dropped the ball in this one. The way Mourinho had been acting in the lead up to the game, he was always going to spring an ambush like this.

Think it's in Keegans book that says Freddie Fletcher just rocked up at the Juventus HQ and demanded to speak to someone about buying him
-
Not even ours to begin with. we bought him for a 2m loan fee you daft sod. Not sure if serious...
-
Suuuuurrrrrreeeee there is.

Ever wondered how he got prima donnas like Drogba to run through brick walls for him or convinced Samuel Eto'o to happily embrace a role on the wing the season after he was the main striker scoring 30 league goals for Barcelona in a treble winning side?

Yohan Cabaye (now sporting coordinator at Paris Saint-Germain)
Pandamninator replied to a topic in Football
how's that? How is he in anyway a "mercenary"? When he refused to play to force a move away? To a team who were in the CL and wanted to win trophies? its not always about the money. Whatever the reasons for wanting a move away it is never acceptable to refuse to play for the team who pay your wages. He's not a miner, he's a pampered little Frenchman. Shame as it could have been a truly amicable parting of ways. Your agenda is showing. Nah, just my bitterness. No interest in wishing players well when they move onto 'bigger' clubs. Especially if the player concerned showed us a lack of respect in his attempts to fuck off. Add him to the list with Carroll, Given, Enrique, etc. Never any questions about why players want to leave this club the way it's run from people like you. Cabaye was always going to leave unless we could provide him with the money PSG offer, would have been nice if he conducted himself a bit better though. Not much to ask. Don't wish to revisit the departures of those 3 creeps. So he would've turned down PSG, the Champions League every season and the likes of Zlatan, Cavani and Silva lining up beside him if we offered him the same wage? -
Dis gon be gud We could buy two good players with that cash but there are only 3 days left. Or we'll buy one and then say his wages/agent fees used all of the Cabaye money. Exactly, sign a player for 7 million with 5.5 years worth of wages, Cabaye money all spent. Because Cabaye played for free. At least Toonpack can wank himself silly at the balance sheet.
