  1. Wasn't great but was probably the most involved of the three midfielders - which is kind of indicative of how poor the game was.
  2. We were really crap with the ball for most of the game. As were they. Was a poor match. Obviously happy with the draw - but thought it was our worst display along with Brighton.
  3. Easily our worst performance of the season. Amazing how bad Man Utd are to not take advantage.
  4. Tow Law 2-3 Whitley today. Last minute winner. Brilliant conditions, think there was all four seasons across the 90 mins.
  5. Do like Maddison but I'd defo rather a winger who can play both sides. Diaby pls.
  6. Isak being out still is a blow. Would have been a great option off the bench. Think our chances depend massively on Bruno being available too.
  7. Most of them will be Championship like.
  8. 86 in 391 appearances too . It's just Shola-esque longevity really.
  9. Definitely PL only. Not even in top 10 all time.
  10. Think that video is just mirrored He's a left footed right winger primarily.
  11. Yeah Inter are through so long as they beat Plzen at home next. Or even just match Barca's result at home to Bayern.
  12. Barca Vs Inter was madness
  13. Those two league cup wins at Chelsea in 2010 and City in 2014 underline the chaos factor of that competition and how eminently winnable it is. Our line ups in both are hilarious.
  14. Must say, on a personal level I honestly don't hate Bruce at all. I had basically checked out of supporting the club for most of his time here particularly during COVIDball. It is no judge on how bad a manager he was it's just I was completely disconnected to even care. The last and only manager I really had the energy to hate was Pardew.
  15. Yeah but I would say tugging on a shoulder is by definition not making an attempt to play the ball. It's not a tackle - just a clear foul on the player. If I'm ref in that situation I just wouldn't give the penalty unless the foul was far more clear. Because the double jeopardy is far too harsh a punishment but can't be avoided by the letter IMO.
  16. Yeah that's the problem with it but once it is judged as a tug of the shoulder to warrant a foul it basically has to be a red because by definition he hasn't tried to play the ball. It basically has to be either no foul at all or pen+red.
  17. Ridiculously soft pen IMO but by the letter once it's a pen it also has to be a red.
  18. Not even convinced it hit his hand
  19. Exactly. I've made this point so many times but it's true. The same goes for the less glamorous European games once we've had our fill for a few years. When you're playing 50+ games a season every year it is hard to fill 65k no matter how great the team is. Man City are the case in point here. We're at the absolute sweetspot for actual local demand right now because it is so exciting and there is momentum. Somewhere between 60-65k would be more than enough long term. In terms of space, comfort, facilities, food, drink etc in the ground I'm not arsed in the slightest. I'd rather the pubs and bars in the city continued to benefit rather than trying to get people in two hours before and two hours after like at Tottenham. Improve the corporate offering sure but the rest is not what matchday is about for me.
  20. I actually don't mind Ando now that we're good

It's great to see him doing well. It shows the benefit of a good manager - but also playing with better players (Bruno makes everybody look better). A run of form will restore value and make it more likely we will get interest from upper championship or even PL clubs like Bournemouth. It's at that point that you have to be ruthless and upgrade.
  22. Wolves have scored 3 goals in 9 games. Still aghast at that greasy creep Neves having the cheek to jip our style of play.
