They got Cornet in the summer for 12 million and he's scored better than 1 in 2 this season. Different position obviously but I don't think Burnley were gonna sign anybody this window as they're skint - now they'll probably at least throw the dice on somebody abroad. Like I say our hands are tied and if he keeps us up it's every penny well spent. But it could just as easily backfire quite embarrassingly if we're unlucky.

I'd totally agree with this. At his best Ramsey was a far better player but he's basically done physically these days. McKennie has actually been pretty good for Juve, but is probably not really the player they want long term, and there's been lots of rumours that they'd happily cash in as a saleable asset (Everton were strongly linked).

I have absolutely no issue with tasteful advertising within the stadium that is sold at market value and benefits the team on the pitch. Ideally any design scheme (including both sponsors and club lettering) should also, predominantly, keep the colour scheme of the club as priority. My primary issue with the Sports Direct was always the fact it looked atrocious and tacky, dominated over the black and white of NUFC and that it did not financially benefit the club in any way.

Simple and circular as a basic vector image is basically a lot easier to replicate across all forms of branding.

I hate 5 subs. It basically allowed Verona to ruin that game with calculated fouls. The two red cards at the end both for subs who had come on for players taken off with yellows. If it wasn't for that there'd have been red cards half an hour earlier or they wouldn't have been able to foul.

I for one am enjoying the warm, comforting feeling of the club still being a basketcase.
