Not sure who to side with here like. Rafa Benitez, notoriously one of the most fiercely political managers in the game, or Tubestationatmidnight off Newcastle Online. Time will tell I guess.

Various: Mike Ashley in talks with Sheikh Khaled bin Zayed Al Nehayan

That statement TLDR - "Leave us alone, stop criticising us please. Allow us to be dicks in peace". -
Exactly, it's practically all squad players again. Not willing to pay what it costs for players that would improve the first team versus what we had in the championship. Another abysmal window where we've papered over the cracks, made a profit ffs, and as always we're not building anything. Rubbish. Get the fuck out of our club and sell it to someone who wants us to progress.

How do I vote Kaka?

Yep -
Daft selling Armstrong when he might have got a game for Dave Bassett next season.

From that article. "This from a squad that is already among the best-paid in the Premier League." "The last complete set of accounts for football clubs was for the 2016-17 season, when Newcastle United were getting promoted from the Championship but their £112million salary bill was one topped by only seven Premier League clubs." He's referring to the accounts where some trickery took place, which grossly inflated the loss? Yep, what a shock that it's poorly researched.

Mahrez cost Leicester less than a million. Youth players cost nowt in transfer fees, if you can be arsed spending any money on your academy.

2014 called, it wants its patter back.

Wonder if we'll hear idiots in the press say Benitez is foolish to be moaning as it will adversely affect the players, like they did last summer before he had an average squad finish 10th. I don't think it's a coincidence that he's speaking so strongly now btw, he'll have seen the criticism Ashley is getting from fans and will want to add fuel to the fire.

That's hilarious, but I also quite admire it. Was over a broken box

Never is "opinions are like arseholes" truer than when some fans are trying to change things for the better at NUFC. If you have nothing to contribute you should just shut the fuck up tbh. -

https://ashleyout.com/myths/ashley-wants-out-no-buyers/ Found this interesting the other day, he (apparently) put the club up for sale for £100m 9 years ago. What has HE done to quadruple the asking price in that time? Only thing he's done to contribute to that is significantly increase the debt with his incompetence. Other big factor of course is the increasing TV revenue, something that has nowt to do with him. Other revenues have stagnated or decreased. That whole article is worth another read, that slimy cunt Llambias stringing the fans along week after week, "The sale should go through next week, your taxi is just around the corner blah blah blah". Ashley is just a horrible, exploitative parasite and surrounds himself with similar people who have no problem fucking others over as long as they're alright. -

And that's because of the formation of The Magpie Group?! What you on about, man? I'll remind you what you said: You're talking absolute rubbish. Nothing has stopped. Any drop in traction for the individual Twitter accounts/hashtags is due to natural peaks and troughs. It's nothing to do with the formation of the Magpie Group, which won't replace or supersede any of the existing groups.
