  1. Somehow been an incredibly dull match, this
  2. The crowd have got the team back into this. 50k wound up by a shit ref and a mackem villain has made the atmosphere relentlessly hostile for a change, and Everton have shit themselves.
  3. He doesn't know the rules then (same as me 5 mins ago tbf) as he said himself that Rondon had a tap in and described it as a rugby tackle.
  4. Should've been a red. Double jeopardy rule only exists when there's an obvious attempt to play the ball. Mental decision. Ridiculous then. He f***ed up with his handling and instinctively cleaned Rondon out. Wouldn't be a matchday without another w*** and vital decision in favour of the opposition.
  5. Ritchie normally scores pens, doesn't he? Commentator said he'd scored 7/7 for us prior to that one, not sure if that's correct or not. Anyway I've no issue with the regular pen taker taking the pen.
  6. What is the actual rule now for fouls in the box that prevent a goal scoring opportunity? Rondon had a tap in before he was wiped out. Keeper was responsible for that and we're worse off.
  7. Who is the co-commentator? Sounds like Pardew but isn't. Clearly hates HBA. "Loierbiwidee". f*** off.
  8. This, it was the Goal Of The Month music one season I think.
  9. Any relation to the Linton Travel Tavern?
  10. Emery is now on both my and Ben Arfa's respective lists. Watch yer fuckin buzón m8
  11. Joe Ledley for 510k more like
  12. And our best youngsters never play, so their development is fucked. The likes of RLC should be a PL regular at 23. Genuinely think there should be a limit on squad sizes / youth players on the books / loans, to put an end to this. But it's the rich, powerful clubs at it so if they're not complaining then the governing bodies reckon they're doing their job properly.
  13. It seems like there is one rule for Newcastle and another for the rest of the league tbh. We get barely any pens, nee reds against us for years, we have situations like that where the ref plays until the other team scores despite being beyond the allocated time even with the sub factored in and a perfect opportunity to blow the whistle well before he did, but inexplicably playing on instead. And finally the challenge on the keeper - it's a running joke in this league that you can't go near the keeper, you most certainly can't put your hands over him like Boly did - it gets given as a foul whether it's a foul or not because it's too vital a call to get wrong basically. But nah it's Newcastle so fuck em. The run of decisions we've had against us this season is beyond a fucking joke to the point of blatant bias with no fucking consequences for anyone. Bring on VAR, not saying it necessarily affects matters this evening but we are getting fucked over time and time again, and can't do any worse out of it than we are currently.
  14. Wtf is the point in trying to sort out Rondon for beyond May on deadline day in January?

How big was Monaco's squad ffs, feels like 100s of players have moved to the PL from Monaco in the last few years alone.
  16. Enjoyed this reply on reddit First comment was referring to this:
  17. Firstly Secondly, we brought in £179m last season and won't cover the wages of a squad player from a club who probably made around half of that. Can't wait to hear in the next set of accounts how we still managed to make a loss or small profit this season despite refusing to spend owt. And that we somehow still owe Ashley £150m or whatever. It was beyond f***ing tedious after about 6 years, it's just impossible to follow and care at this stage. It's a passing interest for me, in every sense now.
