Well nah, that's not the only thing that matters, we're having a discussion about how big games have become less entertaining since Mourinho came back to Chelsea. Aye i agree, but today it may well have stopped those detestable utter cunts winning the league, i'll set aside my love of the game played properly for an hour so. I want Liverpool to win the league, not that it's got much/anything to do with the discussion. Really ?, hmm i suppose it is like choosing which hairy arsehole you want least to sit on your face. Not particularly, they haven't spent the thick end of a billion quid oil money and they've went out each week to score as many goals as they can in an entertaining manner. I also can't stand Chelsea and don't like Man City a great deal more. It's an easy decision.

It's always the way a Mourinho team does it in these games though, that's the point.

Seems to work better in the big games as a tactic though, by its nature. They've done the double over Man City and Liverpool this year, if they could switch to a more free-flowing game where they could pick lesser teams apart at will they'd doubtless have the league sewn up by now.

This, would rather he hadn't came back to England. I love how bitter people are about the 'parking the bus' malarky. As if drilling a side in that manner isn't a massive skill in it's own right. You may not like it but you've got to concede it's effective and highly practiced/drilled. f*** me, if AP could do it, we'd have less than 2 goals in every one of games. Bitter ? Whatever  Yeah, I wouldn't say it was bitterness. It's just not what I watch football for and it's came back to England in a big way since Mourinho's return. We had years of end-to-end goal-fests amongst the top sides while he was away, now we're back to that stuff. I do concede it's highly effective, it just fucks the spectacle of seeing 2 good sides going at each other.

Arsenal vs. Newcastle United - 28/04/14 @ 8pm (Sky Sports 1)

It's fine, man. -
I don't feel sorry for anyone, but I still want Liverpool to win the league as opposed to the 2 disgusting alternatives.
-
Again, I hate the implication that Ashley needs to invest his own money. Investing what we bring in is what the fans rightfully want/expect.

Haven't been out of bed long so just saw the mackems result and thought of this: Mets has been on the ale again then. He's predicted Sunderland to win 4-0 tomorrow. He's definitely back on something. Fucking hell, Merson.
-
Stop dawdling Ashley, get him signed.

Stoke wanted Rose sent off for pushing someone in the chest?
-
It'll be someone high up at the club who wants to spin the story their own way but doesn't want to be named.

A far more in-depth discussion on the managerial situation at West Ham than there has even been about the Newcastle one there. Our atrocious style of play despite having a decent number of good technical players is never mentioned on these things, never mind discussed in any detail.
-
Allardyce: "I can understand the fans' disapproval. We haven't won for 4 games. Everybody around the world of the Barclays Premier League shows disappointment towards the manager when things aren't going so well, and it's not going so well for us. So I accept the criticism that comes my way because it's my responsibility to get it right". I was about to say him and Pardew are the same breed, but Allardyce actually takes a bit of the flak at the end there, which I've never seen Pardew do.
-
Allardyce's patter almost identical to Pardew's!
-
The thing is that there's a good chance that the useless plank will get nowt from the last 3 games, however he's then got a bit of breathing space in the summer potentially. It's a shame the pressure didn't start earlier (as it rightfully should have) because he'll only have had to deal with it for a month, tops, until next season.
-
Was exactly what we needed as well but instead we were fucking around offering 2 or 3 million less than Gomis was worth. Infuriatingly standard NUFC.
-
Is it because they've been told it's not Ful-Ham? No idea, but I did find out "Naarch" were playing later on.

This speculation about Giggs getting the Man Utd job permanently is so fucking predictable. Clubs should just not bother appointing caretaker managers if they want to choose their next permanent manager rather than being told by a swarm of idiots to give a novice a go.

And that's just the other teachers.
