Sherwood didn't deserve the Spurs job, he's made a decent fist of it (at best, really) but half a season could easily be a honeymoon period sort of situation. Surely we could do a great deal better, get someone more proven in who is not a self-entitled hardman dickhead. Well I say this stuff, then I remember who the owner is.

Pardew was at Southampton less than 18 months, usually takes him a touch longer than that to suck the life out of everyone involved with the club he's managing.

If you look at his time at other clubs he's had a tendency of starting off well then getting found out and being sacked for doing a shit job. God knows if Reading, West Ham, Charlton and Southampton fans had to put up with his needlessly negative tedium-ball to such a degree, but when it became clear this would be what I was watching more often than not I knew he wasn't for us and wanted him sacked.

4-0 win please. Pardew would claim a moral victory in those circumstances and you know it.

Bet they had nothing to say on our situation. Not exciting enough for MotD.
