    Happy birthday m8.
  2. That's a bit strong, this guy seems a bit sweary.
  3. Wilford was a canny player for them, but the price did end up looking steep. Not sure they got much when he moved on either.

    Alan Pardew

Yeah, somebody should dig up everything Pardew's ever said and dissect it to a microscopic degree without any context so they can whinge on about it. Oh hang on, that's already happened. Can only assume you've missed my point, otherwise you're just having a pop for no reason. The point was that only last week Pardew was praising the fans for their patience and support and this week he's implying there's often a poisonous atmosphere that negatively affects the team. In that sense those quotes are worth digging up to have a look at.

Someone should dig up Pardew's quotes from a few days ago that were praising the fans, just to show how quickly the man will use something as an excuse.

Can't believe he hasn't quit while he was behind with this crowd stuff, especially given the extraordinary level of patience shown this season. The man's a prat.

Pardew packs in sunbed sessions, acknowledges he looked a prat.
  8. Much like the year we went down, I've been in denial this season. Since I woke up today I've been pretty sure we're going down though. The list of teams we've failed to beat this year is alarming, it'll take a small miracle for us to pick up enough points IMO. The knacker in the dugout needs to go or we've got no chance.
  9. It's completely believable and I will be more shocked if it doesn't happen. Well yeah, me too.
  10. It's fairly believable tbh, and I couldn't be arsed to put SSN on.
  11. Wrong thread, I got mixed up, leave me alone.
  12. Toulouse out on this transfer would be difficult to take like.
  13. Arsenal 3-1 West Ham. I just basically get very few scores/results right these days, it's pissing me off.

That cavalier lunatic Pardew needs to swallow his pride and choose to shut up shop once in a while.
  15. Somebody please put "ON SUICIDE WATCH" on the N-O banner.
  16. Not even when he's signed. He actually has to be in our team for a match. That's the level of scepticism we're now at. I won't believe it till he's been on Jeremy Kyle and had a DNA test to prove its him. All of these posts are brilliant.

You almost lost me with the sympathy thing but the bit in bold seems like it could be case. It's just who he is, he's inherently negative.

His original NUFC contract was for 5 and a half years. Not that it's that relevant, I just remembered, that's all.

It looked like we were sailing to victory with not a problem until Pardew started f***ing about with things, the fans were understandably frustrated at the ridiculous decisions they were seeing. The fans have been very supportive and patient this year, home and away. First sign of a few boos after months of watching absolute s**** on the pitch, and the manager's blaming it for the defeat and 2 turbo-s*** youth players are having a pop on Twitter. It's not the sort of thing that breeds good relations between the 2 parties. As I said in my post above, I didn't see the game so I'm going off the Twitter feed. Didn't realise there was more to it than just taking Cabaye off. Hmm OK. Personally if I hadn't seen the match then I wouldn't comment. Amazes me when people do that on here. The first match I've missed in two years and I'm getting stick I was going off everyone's twitter comments, a lot of which seem solely aimed at the Cabaye substitution, without any real mention of the things leading up to it. I'm sorry, you've touched a nerve there, that's all. I've seen people come into match threads after the match, openly admit they never watched the game then proceed to accuse people of overreacting about how bad the performance was. It's incredible, they don't even put themselves through it then they have a go at the people that do. But yeah, fair enough.
