  1. Haha, so now Romano is saying that Real Madrid are going to either inflating transfer fees, or paying off teams under the table. How to burn your bridges.
  2. I can’t see past Howe and Emery considering how both are limited by PSR, have made the most out of players who were going down under previous managers, and have consistently been in the European places in their full seasons.
  3. He’s just fucking snapped him referee.
  4. ‘United reds’ Urgh, peak PES TikTok generation language being used in commentary.
  5. Fulham in all white is off putting.
  6. Never looking at their own club.
  7. Looked like he came of his line there.
  8. ‘Built themselves up the right way’ Aye, got a massively wealthy owner who could spend much more than the other clubs around them in the lower leagues could, and built them a new stadium after a period of homelessness that had them playing homes games on Gillingham.
  9. They have even knocked back weighting to limit transfer spending, but allow anyone to catch up if they wish to do so. They have lost the argument of it being about sustainability.
  10. He does have a massive chip on his shoulder, he just has a look of arrogance about him, and always speaks arrogantly.
  11. Externally from the outside it looks good from a distance. Get close to it and it has no street level interaction around it. The stands, although steep, look like a generic German stadium. They showed a shot before of the big stand that has the view of the river behind it, but the structure itself just looked like it was framed by scaffolding. Give me Spurs’ stadium over Everton’s every day of the week.
  12. Not only that but in general the media in this country are all in favour of the top 6, well top 5. First of all as you pointed out, the journalists have generally adopted those clubs instead of actually being a football fan. More importantly though, our media is fixated on the wealthy and preserving it. Although football is beneath many of the very wealthy in this country (unless they are making money from it). When they do need to use football as a ‘connection to the working class’ they tend to stick to those clubs because they are the richest and out of any clubs in the U.K., they are also the most representative of themselves, rich, soulless, shameless, controlling, and commercial.
  13. Not a chance that he is taking the hit on his wages to play for Palace or Fulham.
  14. Aye, but fucking Pepsi the sick cunts.
  15. Everton have signed up with Pepsi to only sell their soft drinks in their new stadium. Dirty bastards.
  16. In all fairness it’s been a long standing belief, at least a couple of years. His parent in law is very well involved with the local businesses and their owners around there. His son-in-law grew up as a Doncaster Rovers fan. Sports Direct have an unmarked warehouse in the area, and they have sponsored the non-league Doncaster City.
  17. Armthorpe Welfare is located at the other end of the street as where my dad lives. I’m going to guess that Thorne isn’t far away either with it just being 2 junctions up the M18.
  18. Blackpool have conceded 12 goals, the most in the league.
  19. He………..talks………..like………..this………..and………it……………constantly…………..delays……………the………….rest……….of……………the…………..show…………..you…………..can………even………….see…………..the………..look…………on……………the………….other…………..presenters…………..face………as………….though…………..to………….say…………come…………….on.
  20. He’s not like. He has extended pauses between every word in order to create dramatic effect, and his transfer knowledge is fairly poor.
  21. Any wonder why even he openly admits that if it wasn’t for football, he would have spent his life in prison.

In all fairness, it’s about more than that. It basically intersects the two biggest regeneration projects in Sunderland, probably the only regeneration projects they have going on outside of a housing developer building on their old civic centre. All in all it’s their equivalent of our Pilgrim street regeneration. It’s the same for their new road bridge. You have no idea how much traffic it takes from the northern end, much of which was single lane from the Queen Alexandria bridge, past the SOL, and into Sunderland that way.
  23. This, he fucking irritates me. How can he be a presenter?
  24. My brother has connections to him through work, there is a long standing expectation that he’ll buy Doncaster Rovers, although some seem to think he may try to turn his attention to Sheffield Wednesday considering their situation, although a price of £100m for the club without the stadium and training ground may very well put him off.
  25. Absolutely fucking dead league, beating one of the very few teams who could challenge them 6-0 in the first weekend.
