  1. If it’s the Premier League, you can guarantee that they would come down hard on us if someone made a complaint. 10 points deducted, and £40m off our PSR allowance.
  2. Aye, and if we are selling key players to the likes of Liverpool, we should be making them pay for it. £100m upfront should be the minimum.
  3. I thought it was discussed on here a couple of months back. It got revealed in some sort of court case or something.
  4. Didn’t Fabio admit that he released information so agents can start a bidding war, and help players in contract renewals?

I don’t know. When Jamie Driscoll was in charge of the North Tyne authority, which this mayoral role superseded, he refused to allow the funds be used for anything other than affordable housing. It seems like Kim is happy to just put the funds out if it’s going to include offices, and there is no mention of affordable homes.

Aye, last week one on Twatter was saying that if the guy who was wearing one of our tops at Seaburn wasn’t with his children, then he would have knocked him out. Also, so their shirt sold out straight away, and ours hasn’t so that’s laughable, yet they keep seeing everyone in the Sunderland suburbs, and all the over to the Algarve wearing one of our shirts. Do you not think that suggest the largest football kit manufacturer in the world maybe made a fuck load more of our tops than your 4th rate manufacturer made for them? Honestly, most mackems you come across in real life are decent people, but the ones on RTG, and online are just full on spanners.
  7. I’ve said this even before the takeover, but we’ll get a new badge. As it happens I think it will be a fresher version of the magpie and castle. This logo features prominently on the new home kit, and other marketing by the club. In a recent Eales interview when they were in Germany, he is sat in front of a variation of it, with a slight change in colours. In some angles where it is more visible, the logo is more blurred. I don’t think they would be using that logo so much if they were not starting to transition. As it happens for the 3rd shirt, Adidas are actually using retro logo’s for most of their teams on their third shirts, usually combined with their Trefoil logo. Leeds have just released their away shirt with a retro logo which has went down very well with their fans. TLDR: A bit of both is preparing for a new logo, and Adidas marketing for this season.
  8. It will be quieter than the home shirt. People only found out about the release yesterday, and have just spent at least £80 on the home top. On top of this, people know about the design for the away top which will be more popular.
  9. Good chance that by now the black colour of the tattoo has faded into a green similar to the shirt as well. Win win for him.
  10. It looks far far better than I thought it was going to look.

He never said fans would hear about it imminently, he said that they hadn’t received the feasibility study yet and that they were due to receive it imminently.
  12. Confirmation that Rafa brought Staveley in to buy the club. We have so much to thank that man for.
  13. It is, but it will take time. This is why what happens to SJP/new build stadium is key. First of all it will bring in more fans to games, then it will bring in more corporate/boxes people, and it will bring in more events. This is years away though. Right now we are left with having to deal with other sponsorships, which will be a difficult sell to the Premier League who are determined not to let us have anything. They will keep resisting us being able to get deals close to the other top 6, as they will argue that 2 years doesn’t equal parity. We will have to do what Spurs did, but you could argue that largely started when plans for their new stadium got going. Unfortunately for us we are the best part of, if not atleast 5 years away from moving into a new stadium. So right now we just have to maximise what we can get out of sponsorship deals, and that means we have to get everything right on the pitch to keep up with the top 6. Our argument of saying well finishing 7th is at worst an 80% chance of European football, so therefor we can justify getting those sponsorship the top 6 do will fall on a table of laughing cocks at the Premier League.
  14. Both his parents died very close to each other, and I believe he was the one who was appointed to take care of everything. Ironically his brother is actually a bin man for North Tyneside council.
  15. I hate the man as much as the next Newcastle fan, but his parents had just died as he was offered the Sheffield Wednesday job and he was left in charge of everything.
  16. He speaks like and sounds like the Madmistake, both in actual sound/accent, but mannerisms/style of speech.
  17. We already are thinking about it. The feasibility study is due at anytime, and has possibly already landed on Eales’ desk. I would very much doubt that it would conclude anything short of a new stadium or rebuild (with an adjustment of footprint) is what would be possible.

Isn’t CCC still largely supported by middle class and upper class individuals? I can’t see many of them giving a fuck about the origins of money, and that is also assuming they are ones who would ask so follow the Hundred series as well.
  19. It will happen, they’ll get money from the government. The government love to give Manchester money and think it’s saying they have invested in the North, and INEOS will have a team of dedicated lobbyists who are used to getting government investment.
  20. Aye, sure I’ve heard people getting conned off him, either never receiving the stuff they ordered, or them being fakes when they have arrived.
  21. They were 2-0 up until the 85th minute, Easington equalised in the last minute of stoppage time.
  22. Yes, and this is more evidence that they do. They are investing again in our region. Soon enough the North East will become the hotbed for Saudi’s investment in the U.K., like London was for the Russians after the fall of the USSR, and in more recent times, Abu Dhabi in Manchester.
  23. JD don’t do names and number. You would have to go to the shop, they won’t give a fuck where you got it from, just charge you. You won’t get any insurance incase they do it wrong/burn it, which can happen when they are careless.
