I honestly think he won’t play for us again.
-
There absolutely is talent in the North East, we just don’t have many academies to facilitate everyone.
-
I think it’s new billboards, digital ones I believe.
-
Yeah, we would have been favourites for sure. I honestly think we would have won it, no team there that we aren’t able to beat.

He was massively against our takeover, or at least dismissive of it. First he was saying it makes sense then buying us, it would make better sense buying Man Utd, then saying they will never do anything or have any intent to do anything etc.
-
Seems weird for him to be changing his time lately. Maybe the tide, PR wise at least is turning.
-
There is no dropping down now.
-
Aye, when he buys his next club he’ll do it, he’ll likely have some good will to start with to be able to get away with it.
-
Seems weird how we haven’t partnered with them beforehand, considering one of the owners and founders is Steve Harper.
-
Some of the new stuff looks good like.
-
Aye, shit sorry. But aye, so they have the equivalent amount of our games from September until the end of the season worth of games left. It’s a lot of games, and anything can happen.
-
They have got off to an excellent start, excellent, but they still have 1 game shy of a full Premier League season ahead of them. It is still massively early days.
-
I don’t see it being much different to now to be honest. Even the stuff about sending money down to the EFL, whoever they get to run it, I doubt will end up giving them more than they already get.

Never underestimate what bad parents will get their kids to do.

Why jinx it again?
-
Shocking decision.
-
Why isn’t he taking Aston Villa to court as well, considering they have a similar deal with JD? I don’t understand how he thinks he can win, surely the club are free to use who they wish as distributors?
-
Yeah, I mean I only passed on what that Magpie Media guy was saying, deep down, I knew better.

Going to say it here. If PIF really wanted a Man Utd, Liverpool, or Spurs, they could have got them. As we have seen in other sports, they have the money to throw around if they want it. Would one of those clubs cost £5bn or more? Sure, but if they wanted them, they would have paid that. You’re not going to buy NUFC, put in half a billion buying the club and getting players in over the first 3 years, then talk about a £1bn-£4bn stadium, a training ground that would cost a minimum of £100m, then everything else on top, to just say ‘You know what, I want to spend all that buying Man Utd’ in anyway. Fucking hell man, the idea doesn’t even get past the proposal of testing a theory. All this talk about it all because you have Miggy Mouse reporter there desperate for clicks, and to make Sky Sports think he’s a valuable asset for the back page paper talk section in the middle of the night.
-
So even the players are against PSR now. Fucking hell, just scrap it lads.
-
Aye, that’s not on like. At least it’s not in a fucking burger bun though.

😂 Honestly man, sometimes I just can’t handle it, and have to get out. I don’t understand why the fixtures and fitting needs to look cheap as fuck. If anyone is wondering what I’m on about, go to that People’s price on Northumberland Street. Just MDF panels, and holes in the wall where hangers slot in. I never get why when you are trying to sell something, you make the shop look all cheap. Supermarkets in Europe puts ours to shame, I thought things were about to change when Morrisons went through that spell of selling beg so fresh they sprayed it with a mist. They quickly remembered that people shopped there out of habit, so why fucking bother? I worked in retail for 11 years, and you would get concept stores popping up and a big spread about it in internal magazines. They have spent fortunes on these stores, proper lighting, proper signage etc. At best they would give you a cardboard sign that has a picture of the sign it’s based off in the concept store and you would be asked to place that up for a while, until they give up on the concept stores actual concept.

I grew up in the 90/00’s when every shop interior was from the 40’s/50’s, and last cleaned in the 80’s. I’d take the industrial look all day every day.

It wasn’t directed at anyone, but a general observation on here, and not limited to today either.

Yeah, if it wasn’t Lee Charnley, then it will be that lawyer that Ashley sent up to help facilitate a sale, although the language used by Staveley to him is a bit too direct for what I think she would say to a competent lawyer, and the language used by him reads a bit weak, very much like we all assume Charnley to be like.
