  1. I’m shocked that stands, it didn’t go out, but it hit his hand.
  2. How hasn’t Alan Smith been peddled yet? Offers absolutely fuck all but an Arsenal love in on commentary.
  3. There is little difference the Arsenal penalty that was given, and the penalty for us last week that was taken off us.

On the flip side Man City have been owned for 15 years and only just getting a new club museum, and a club shops that’s not using what was little more than portacabins, as well as what will likely be it’s final capacity increase. 10 years in at PSG and they still play at what looks to be a slightly better Hampden Park. Chelsea were owned by a Russian Oligarch for nearly 20 years, and no stadium expansion or major redevelopment happened. Also, Spurs have the best stadium in football, possibly the best sports stadium in the world, yet plenty would say that their owners don’t have an ambition to have a team to match it.
  5. I think some of them looked promising as youngsters, then never developed for whatever reason, most of them seem to be overrated shit though, on top of shit coaching.
  6. Aye, both a very 70’s, bubble font squashed together.
  7. A good day in the National League for our local clubs today, wins for Gateshead, Hartlepool, and York.
  8. Because his fans tend to be rabid racists who don’t like anything that isn’t a full English breakfast, and spending the day sitting in the pub, he gets away with a lot of stuff because ‘He tells the truth’. In all honesty he speaks a lot of business sense, and his ideas like the Premier League Netflix, which I shared on here before he came out with it on the radio is a good idea and ultimately where we will end up, not matter how long the Premier League drag their heels. Other than that though he’s just mouthpiece of someone who likes and inflates his own opinion too much, combined with liking the idea of winding people up. For example he’s recently been liking Ange Postecoglou’s hoop and saying ‘I have always been a fan of his’. This despite him being on the radio 2 years ago when he was first rumoured to be going to Celtic saying Celtic were making a big mistake and that they were getting a manager from a league where Robbie Fowler is a manager. This goes completely unchallenged. As others have said, it’s rich of him to claim that others have an agenda when whenever the topic of someone he doesn’t like comes up, he always starts off by saying ‘despite my opinions of them’ etc. on top of that his girlfriend has made a political career out of making an agenda.
  9. Tim Sherwood is thick as fuck. I honestly think if he was on Twitter, he’d be retweeting Matt Le Tissier tweets.

It’s quite likely that we won’t get movement on a stadium expansion in the next 5 years. The reason for that is that by the time we start, we will be going into the 2028 Euro’s, and we can’t have a stadium in the middle of a rebuild, unless we want to throw away our host city status to Sunderland. I very much doubt our owners would be happy with that, even SJP in its current guise is better to host from an image point of view, then handing it over to the SOL. At the moment they are currently figuring out what they need, where the demand is. Ok we have a demand for tickets, but at what price point? How will that grow if/when the club grows. They have increased the hospitality at the club but they are figuring out how much they need for that and at what price point as well. Will that grow with success and if so by how much? The planning application is going to take 9-12 months alone.
  11. The release clause is going to be out of context as well. It will almost certainly be a fee upfront scenario, which makes him unaffordable for most clubs. It will also most likely coincide with us not qualifying for the Champions League and the buying club qualifying for it etc. It will probably also have time constraints as well, can only happen in summer transfer window, has to happen by July etc.
  12. They just seriously either need to allow the 3pm games to be shown, or move Premier League games away from that slot.

On the radio today they were claiming that they have sold 50k tickets for tonight’s England v Scotland woman’s match.
  14. I’d hate to see the rest of their house. Other than a kids bedroom, who decorates their house like that?
  15. You save on the cost of a gym pass when you climb to level 7?
  16. So far I have missed out on 2 league games and 1 cup game. It’s looking likely that I’m missing out on a 3rd league game. If I do, and I miss out on all of the Champions League games, then I’ll demand a refund for mine.
  17. I’ve heard that it’s a disaster for the US market as well. The reason being is that most NFL games kick off at 6pm (UK time). So many fans in the US will switch over to the NFL, even for the broadcasters who have the rights, they risk losing too many switching over to the NFL instead. The same applies to sports bars in the US.
  18. More on about vast swathes of fans trying to get into a corner shop. No it doesn’t, Sunday’s are already generally a reduced service, it will be difficult for both home fans and away fans. You might be able to get a train from London to Newcastle, but it will be a lot harder getting one from say Birmingham to Newcastle after a match.
  19. Weekday games are rare, usually reserved for cup games. When they do happen they are often rearranged games, or games that tend to be more local. A 6:30 game on a Sunday would be a regular event, almost weekly. It kicks off when a lot of public transport outside the capital has stopped or got a reduced timetable, and most shops etc are shut. You will be hard pressed to find return public transport for away fans as well, meaning that most away fans would have to take the Monday off and possibly pay for accommodation.
  20. It’s fucking disgusting man. What next, Wednesday at Midday? Either scrap the 3pm blackout, or put every Premier League game on at 2pm on a Sunday so they can all be televised.
  21. Any surprise that an English referee was on the VAR there?
  22. Why the fuck are PSG wearing all black?
  23. There has been promising signs from us, but we are nowhere near quick enough getting back. We are trying to force sending Gordon on a run too much, switch it up a little. We have seen that when we string a few passes together, we can open them up as well. The commentator was saying that Milan may have a couple of minutes where they get a few chances, or take us on the break, but they won’t control the game, and that’s the way it has been. Burn needs to be able to pass to 1 of the 2 available players right in front of him, instead of sending it out for a throw in. Also we have tried to take set pieces quickly, and the initial players receiving it is ready, but those further up the pitch aren’t.
