An old manager who used to work in my last job was good friends of his. I think his wife and Krul’s were friends. Anyway gave him tickets to loads of matches etc, even paid for him to go to the Euro’s a see his games etc.

It’s true though. There is only 1 away fan pub which is hard to find and hidden behind dark alleys. They have police on the doors of other pubs, not bouncers, actual police. I asked one of them why this was and he just said that Wolves fan are very territorial. In the Championship we had to have a police escort and be segregated from their fans as we left. Outside of Wolverhampton I’ve came across a few of their fans before and despite being pleasant and wanting to just chat about football, all you get is an attitude from them.

Fuck that. I’d rather just allow us to loan players to a local lower-league club without as many restrictions. Imagine Gateshead with about 5-6 of our youngsters? It could be the saving grace for our smaller clubs. No wages, young exciting players to draw in the crowds etc.

I’m not sure what people want from it? The obvious thing people say is the daylight rule, but I think that gives far too much advantage to attackers, and would be far harder for defensive teams to counter and would result in more teams playing a low block.
