  1. a minutes silence turned into a minutes applause. hope we dont have that mix up on saturday. indeed, an event as upsetting as this deserves to be treated solemnly, a minutes silence is certainly more appropriate than what happened today at Swansea, although it was nice and moving to see. i wouldn't want it repeated.
  2. hope we all take note of what happened for Robert Enke after his tragic death. was handled really well imo, with dignity respect and a chance for fans to mourn and celebrate the life of another whos life was cut short. http://youtu.be/S7y4u5MoRK4
  3. doubt its because of an impending news story tbh. didn't he discuss his battle with depression just after he retired from playing?
  4. at least with sir Bobby's death came with no surprise, and you could always of said he lived a happy life. like others have said, i just hope this brings to light the problems of depression, in and out the game.
  5. jesus. absolutly shocked by this. RIP. true legend. top bloke.
  6. my man u supporting flat mate didn't notice the flag , nothing better than seeing him going mental when that offside goal went in
  7. 3-1. that goal was probably the highlight of the game...
  8. has all this perch playing, colo out, only come from alan shearer saying he thinks we might have a problem at centre half tomorrow? and everyone automatically going to the worst possible outcome?
  9. American Samoa won for the first time, beating tonga 2-1.
  10. "similar thing happened in Magaluf 1998, after the England v Colombia game was canny Read more: http://www.readytogo.net/smb/showthread.php?t=645991&page=2#ixzz1eU9bCf9B " makes it sound like a nice day out to cragside with the family
  11. well at least petrov actually did something
  12. villa have to be one of the dullest teams in the league.
  13. http://www.nufc.co.uk/articles/20111109/chelsea-h-ticket-news_2281670_2510990 still saying sjp there too
  14. easily. the worst thing he's done so far to date is this name change, its one thing to plaster the ground with your advertising, sell the players, even lie to the fans to a certain point, all that could have been forgiven if he had just kept on going with this new, succesful model, but stripping the club of its legacy and history, in the hope (assuming he actually is hoping to sell the naming rights) for a few quid, is disgusting and shameful, no amount of success can forgive this.
  15. do we know the players knew about this?
  16. so was the sports direct@sjp... so no, it wont be changed back
  17. will they not have to change it back for the olympics?
  18. surely they could just keep it as SJP until they found a sponser?
  19. just as we were beginning to get noticed for things on the pitch for a change too...
