Think we’re going to start to move towards quality over quantity now that we’ve got a pretty solid first XI. 1 or 2 in January and then 3 or 4 in the summer. Now we have Ashworth and Eales here I’m confident we’ll have our deals lined up to go when the window opens.

Seem to have a slick process in place at least.

I think we’re currently playing with plan B with the likes of Miggy, Fraser and Willock. Wood and Murphy are last resort options as it stands. Give it two or three windows and the likes of Wilson and ASM will be plan B and the players above will be either plan C or no longer here.

Or how about clubs stop doing ridiculous overseas tours pre season. Limit each club to 4 pre season games over a two week block and extend the season by 2 weeks.

Keep the league cup but exclude clubs in the champions league and give the winners the 4th CL space. Spice it up a bit.

When we get a better quality bench I fully expect us to start utilising the 5 subs more. As it stands the dip in quality from first XI to bench is just too much to take advantage of it.

1 defeat in 7 with our best three players out for the majority of those games. That defeat in itself was scandalous so it really should be undefeated in 7. I have no doubt with a fit ASM, Wilson and Bruno that we’d have have won a couple more too. We’ve got a team that gives absolutely everything in every game. I’ve waited all my life for this. We’ll get incrementally better season on season and it’s great journey to be a part of. People who are unhappy at the moment need to look where we were 12 months ago and show a bit of respect IMO. Yeah there will be frustrating days but that’s all part and parcel of football. Very few teams are going to come here and roll over to us.
