Yeah it makes little different really, as they only need a 2/3rds majority to get stuff through
-
Is it not just the paperwork behind the £305m purchase fee and the £38.5m additional they put in?
-
Played well yesterday, but worth mentioning he was up against Josh Sargent, who is one of the worst PL players of all time.
-
Genuinely think his best position may be a defensive midfielder

Just. Fucking. Win. -
Pay him off and get rid.

Seem to remember in the 0-1 that Gayle missed a pretty good chance in the last couple of mins too (diving header?). I don’t see how anyone could question the tactics Rafa used in those games. It was clear that Man City were a significantly better footballing side and therefore the only option was to stay in the game as long as possible and hope for a mistake. The 2-1 the following season being the classic example.

Throw an absolute bucket full of cash at Lamptey please.
-
He’s a bit like a poor Kevin Nolan. Decent at finishing chances but a pretty limited all round game.
-
Ritchie is a walking red card here like

Sounds like the only train that was getting to London in time for kick off has been delayed, getting in at 12.40.

Imagine not wanting Zinchenko

Do Australia not have that random playoff against the 5th place South America team anymore?
-
Was 4-3 with five mins to go. Always looks like a battering but we were right in it for most of the game.

The three yearly thing would surely only be a light touch “has anything changed”. They can’t change the rules once they’ve approved a takeover and then exclude us from the league, there would be legal bods all over that.

Not to mention the Angel isn’t in Newcastle… -
Form is a wonderful thing. You could say they’ve only lost one at home all season, or you could say they drew with Palace with a last second equaliser, and only scraped past Watford and Norwich. We absolutely could get something from the game, but I don’t think we will. They’re just too good for us. 3-1.

Compare and contrast to this one from pre season:
-
They literally briefed a couple of days ago that they were starting the recruitment process
-
Our next three games Arsenal Norwich Burnley Watfords next three Leicester Man City Chelsea Burnley’s next three Spurs Wolves Newcastle Leeds next three Brighton Palace Brentford (followed by a horror Christmas run similar to ours) Brentford next three Everton Spurs Leeds The importance of the next few fixtures is massive. Two wins and we could be in and around the pack.
-
They weren’t really wing backs though, they were wingers in a 343 formation. I’m sure the only reason Clark played was because he was left footed.
-
Think he’ll bring in Fraser for Murphy and Haydon for Willock.
-
3-1. Give a decent account of ourselves but ultimately turned over by a much better team.
