    Eusebio - RIP

A fantastic player and a true legend. When I was growing up Pele and Eusebio were the two greats of world football and both were spoken of in the same breath.
  2. Good team, pleased he's going for it, in terms of selection anyway.

    Hatem Ben Arfa

Looks to me like Pardew's lost him. Hardly surprising since he rewarded his performance v Stoke by benching him again for the next two games. Having to take off Gouff at half time just confirms Pardew's poor decision making around him.
  4. Been brilliant, but fucked up today. Two footed and studs showing, inevitable red.

    Hatem Ben Arfa

Pardew should have stood by Hatem's performance v Stoke, shown him some loyalty and picked him from the off. Benching him again would have been confusing for the player, who has waited for his chance for a while now, and not good management. Today it was back to desperately trying to make an impression as a bit part, and it showed. He won't thrive under this manager now, and I wouldn't be surprised if he'll want to be off somewhere else next season.
  6. Consistently excellent for a while now.

    Moussa Sissoko

Seems to be getting better and better recently. Going to be some player if he continues like this. For someone played out wide he's an absolute beast, such pace and power will become a handful for any fullback.
  8. Great away performance, totally in control. Impressive from everyone, including that manager of ours. Well done all. Going to be an excellent Xmas all round.
  9. Great 1st half, Moussa and Debuchy great down the right. Anita very good in the middle. Now all we need is a big win for a change, Pardew you fucker!
  10. You're Mike Williamson aren't you. No, but I actually wouldn't mind being him at the moment!
  11. Developing into a rather brilliant story this. Must have always been aware he's no great footballing defender, but he has really grasped a last chance of making it with a big club and applied himself with wholehearted concentration. Puts his body in the way time and again and, most of all, has stood up and taken responsibility for the whole back line. In his best ever form, and against some top strikers. Long may it continue.
  12. Credit to him today, he went for it at long fucking last! Brilliant result.
  13. Simply fucking magnificent! Who cares how poor the other United were, that was wonderful. Loved those hugs at the end.
  14. Not bad at all, we can do this. Willo a rock again. But need to take initiative 2nd half, not sit back. Would love to see Hatem on here, could create some mayhem.
  15. Just doesn't look the same player, at times his head looked all over the place tonight. If things are indeed affecting his game he doesn't deserve a first team spot. Would be amazed if Pardew had the balls to drop him though.
  16. Back to square one, but I guess we always will be under this manager.
  17. Just should never be losing this game like this. Crap from manager and some of the established players.
  18. Too much shit out there tonight, and Pardew's not done a thing about it.
  19. Tactics way too predictable. Anita on soon please, some possession would be nice.
  20. Stuttered again towards the end, but that's another great three points. Knocked it around well and played some good stuff at times, with a screamer to win it. Difficult to complain about much there. Well done the lads.
  21. Shola and Remy walking off at half time, arms around each other, did it for me. Our most potent partnership up front at the moment, rather incredibly.
  22. Welcome win of course. But sitting off teams when we could have completely finished them off is nail-bitingly irritating and completely fucking unnecessary. Its too much of a habit not to be coming from the touchline. That said, great stuff from Shola today, and with Cabaye and Remy showing their usual class and Willo keeping up his excellent defending it does feel like we're moving forward at this point in time.
  23. Coming along very nicely is Mapou. Great to see him pulling through his difficult spell, shows good character.
