If @LFEE doesn’t know about it yet as a Freeman, who do we know it’s Castle Leazes? It does make me chuckle mind - the sea change in supporter’s sails. The Club have played a blinder. I’ve recently seen Spurs’ supporters bemoaning their new stadium. It’s arguably the best of the new builds. How is PSR working for them?

We began running before we could walk with what the likes of Silverstone et al have implemented/tried to implement. I was thinking earlier on just how much the Club have gotten wrong off the pitch since the summer of 2023 (placement of singing section, standing areas, ballots etc). I’m not sure they quite know what they’re doing in all honesty. We’re now seeing a knock on effect of those very decisions in regards to the atmosphere that were so pivotal in 21-22 and 22-23. Am I bitter? Well…yes. Am I wrong? Others can be the judge of that.

It probably did. I still think it’s an outdated monstrosity now. I can’t imagine it will last another 50 years - what will replace it is anyone’s guess. Eldon Gardens is even worse. I was born before the Handyside Arcade was knocked down - I’m sure if that was still there it would be amazing. I did used to go the Kard Bar that moved onto Westgate Road as a very young teenager.

Seeing as we’re increasingly viewed as consumers these days, I think it’s only reasonable that a consumer be allowed to select what they would like before paying. EVEN, if I was happy paying the price beforehand and given only one seat left in the ground; there may be no doubt I would have purchased it anyway. But that’s not the point. It’s principle more than anything. Anyway, a moot point. They’ve changed the system now, ONLY after plenty of supporters did raise their views consistently over the course of the season; instead of rolling over happy to have their tummies tickled.

They’ve listened to overwhelming feedback. Last season may have worked for you, but for me and many others I didn’t want to pay for a seat I had no choice in selecting. If you can’t select a seat or find someone to help you find a seat in your price bracket within a 48 hour window then I don’t think that’s the Club’s fault.

If you don’t want the £60 tickets you don’t have to pick the seats and you won’t be charged. Whereas last season, you could be lumped with absolute shite tickets in Level 7 and not find out until the money has left your account.

I wonder if that will be the line come 2025-26 when season ticket prices are jacked up to over £1k a seat… (which they will be…)

So assuming £47 is the lowest price of ticket this season. £47 x 19 = £893 +£37 membership = £930 What are the season ticket prices? Nice to see members being screwed over again.

I wonder if you can still buy tickets for friends and family? Say you enter the ballot as a single person, as does your friend. And you’re both successful - could you select/buy their seat for them?

Can’t believe people weren’t bothered about it being changed I remember posting on here back in 2011 when I was in the ground, then working at the Club as a coach, when they were in the process of changing it. We all went fucking mental Very very happy to see this back. Bizarrely, it’s going to take some getting used to.

Yep. I asked for a return to the old system but if had to have ballot it would be 70% (lowest choice given) and 30% stick man
