I've gone from being a season ticket holder for best part of 30 years (went 12 years without missing a single home game, including friendlies and Anglo Italian Cup games) and regular away traveller to the point where I am now and that is I've watched us twice all season on TV, both times I was bored beyond belief and felt virtually no emotion whatsoever. I won't bother watching these 3 games over Xmas and New Year either.

Let him crack on. He's a footballing non entity and his opinion counts for nothing. Listen to him he can barely string a couple of sentences together.

Cost Ashley £4m in compensation to get him here from Sheff Wed.
-
Awful going forward, even worse trying to defend. Hopefully Willems returns next month.

Yep that's more or less as good as we've played this season, certainly in terms of possession and chances created, and we were still absolutely pathetic.

What's the fascination of getting a throw in, in line with their 18 yard line and playing it all the way back to Darlow?

Nah not under Ashley they wouldn't. There's a reason our managers under him have included Kinnear, Pardew, Carver, McClaren and Bruce and that's because they are the calibre of managers who will happily work for Ashley. Desperate has beens who know they shouldn't be anywhere near a Premier League job. Of course we had Rafa as the exception to the rule but look what happened there.

This poor fella getting a bit of stick.....

Didn't even watch it. Watched a programme about the making of Home Alone on Channel 5 instead. For those who did watch, you have my sympathy. -
He's much worse than Pardew. In fact he doesn't even deserve to be mentioned in the same breath as Pardew.

https://twitter.com/AnfieldWatch/status/1339890833408077824 What a night that was! Atmosphere was just incredible, so intense from start to finish. Rafa's last time managing at SJP.

Hopefully today marks the day when his luck finally started to run out. Can't wait to see how his mate Edwards suger-coats this.

A successful Newcastle United, and by successful I mean winning trophies on a regular basis similar to what Man City have done over the past Decade, could attract gates of 65k+ no problem at all. We averaged over 51k in the Championship, which could have been higher as many of the games sold out, so I don't think another 14k or so would be too difficult to achieve of we were constantly one of the best teams in the Country. I love SJP but, as with the club itself, I've become a bit detached from it this past 10-15 years so I wouldn't be against a new stadium provided it was in either Leazes Park, Town Moor or the Arena site and the capacity was at least 65k giving us the 2nd biggest stadium once again.

Maybe it’s because he speaks to the people involved, which would give him a lot more insight than us lot. And to be fair to him he always says hopeful as opposed to confident. So did Caulkin and we all know how that turned out. He'll be hopeful as a supporter but I wouldn't be reading much else into what he says.

It's funny but at the same time I wonder if he is quite the full shilling when I read some of his posts. I'd hate to think I was taking advantage of someone who maybe has some sort of mental disability however slight it might be. Wouldn't sit well with me at all. Has anyone actually met him in person? Is he ok, if you know what I mean?

Mate you must have lost a small fortune in charity bets this year. I'm not taking any more off you! Didn’t you bottle out of a wager Can't remember but if I did I shouldn't have, cos I would have won! What's stopping you this time then? Nothing at all. My only stipulation is that he shows me proof that he's paid up all the losing wagers he's had on here this season as I'm yet to see that. Once he does I'm more than happy to proceed.

Mimms is no more ITK than anyone else on here. Embarrassing the way people were hanging on his every word in the same way people were with Caulkin on Twitter (at least he's learned his lesson and keeps quiet about it these days although I don't doubt he was acting in good faith). One thing people should have learned by the fiasco in the spring/summer from all these supposed ITK journalists is that actually nobody other than those directly involved in the deal will know what's happening and they won't be blabbing about it on Twitter of football message boards.
