  1. That's good to know. What I know is that this forum also thought Anita and Mitrovic were going to be NUFC greats as well. I'll be right on this one.
  2. Just watch and see who's right. He'll forge a decent career as a Championship player.
  3. I'd rather just get him off the wage bill. He cost £13m and he'll be on a canny wedge. He couldn't handle the Championship, I see no point in paying him for a Premier League campaign. He hasn't exactly figured regularly in the Championship has he? Only time he got a chance for a few games in a row was when Gayle was out injured and then he performed well and scored goals only to be benched as soon as Gayle was fit (rightly so). He's not good enough. It's really as simple as that.
  4. Played some lovely football 2nd half. Still looked vulnerable at the back though. Rafa will put that right.
  5. I'd rather just get him off the wage bill. He cost £13m and he'll be on a canny wedge. He couldn't handle the Championship, I see no point in paying him for a Premier League campaign.
  6. He has totally given up as a manager and as anything and therefore he's a fraud. He's begging to be sacked for a pay day. He is a disgrace. I quite like him.
  7. £33m loss after tax with all the riches being in the PL brings??? Surely administration beckons.
  8. I wonder if they ever do get an airport and it isn't built on the High Street if they will call it Sunderland Airport? I remember when Niall Quinn and that Irish consortium bought them they were talking about chartering dozens of planes to fly fans in from Ireland to every home game and they were going to use Wessington Way as the runway.
  9. We should put a giant Newcastle advert up at their airport. That'll show em'!
  10. It's going to be be great at their match on saturday. The fans hate the players. The players hate the fans. The fans hate Moyes. Moyes hates the fans, and going by last night's game the fans all hate each other now as well.
  11. He'd be one of the first I'd be looking to move on in the summer because he's simply not good enough. Clearly he's popular with the rest of the players going by the amount of times they were trying to set him up for that elusive goal on Monday night, and he's still popular with the fans but they're not good enough reasons to keep hold of him. I didn't think he'd make the impact that a lot of people on here thought he would in the Championship because the goals are the same size and he really struggles to hit the target but even I've been a bit surprised at how poor he's looked this season.
  12. I would rather the agony was prolonged for them for another week and that relegation is confirmed the day before we play Barnsley.
  13. Moyes is there until HE decides otherwise. They can't afford to sack him and they'll be playing Championship football regardless next season. He'd be kissing goodbye to a few £million if he walked away and with his reputation in tatters he'd struggle to get a decent job anywhere else. Yes, on reflection I think it would be better for all concerned if he gave it at least another full season there.
  14. Within the next hour I'd say. There'll also be one on how they filled in the Boro fans as well.
  15. The "core", as they put it, at sunderland knew they had a nonce on their books and covered it up, as well as continued to play him.
  16. They loved it when we had McClaren as manager. They gave him no stick at all. The opposite applies to Benitez and they spend most of their time trying to convince each other that he's no good despite his managerial CV being up there with the world's best. They wanted McClaren to stay yet they're desperate for Rafa to walk. Why do they think that is?
  17. No one one was going to take them on the money they are on. Exactly. Let's not make out either of them were doing us a favour by sticking around.
  18. As bad as he was last night, that wasn't his worst performance of the season. Fulham (H) takes that accolade.
  19. Ritchie without a doubt. He's crucial to our team.
