Think we'll both have new managers by the time the derby comes round.

Well reading through this thread so far he's every bit as sh*t as a lot of us predicted he would be with the attitude we'd thought he'd have. Basically everything we didn't need or want. Another Carr master stroke and no doubt.

Man City will no doubt go through the motions 2nd half which is a bit of a shame.

4 in 11 minutes!

Never known a set of football fans anywhere get as worked up over an airport as they do.

Livingston now play at the Tony Macaroni Arena. http://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/scottish-football-now-home-most-6486236

Couldn't believe it when he came out with that! Unsurprisingly nobody bothered to pull him up on such a ridiculous comment.

2,250 Watford fans as well so only 45,500 home supporters which is pretty poor especially for a 3pm Saturday kick off. Could well drop off a lot further over the next few games now they don't have the season ticket numbers they've had in previous years. For me personally this is the first season since the mid 1980's that I haven't went to any of the first 3 home games and I've got no intention of going to a match any time soon either.

It's going the way the the majority of us expected it to.

Newcastle United 1-2 Watford - 19/09/15 - Post-match reaction from page 21

I'm not. Thought he was a pointless signing before he'd kicked a ball for us. -
He's a considerably better player than Colback like, can't believe some people doubt it But I agree, starting to look like he's got to go for the greater good. Colback scores more goals. Colback creates more goals. Colback is the better tackler. Anita is a better passer of the ball. In summary they're both not up to playing in this league and if they both remain in the team we'll remain in the relegation zone. If McClaren wants to persist with this formation I'd try Tiote and Wijnaldum in there tomorrow with Thauvin, De Jong and Aarons ahead of them with Perez up top. See how that goes.

One of the most ridiculous posts I've read on here and that's no mean feat! Nowt wrong with Anita, it's everyone else's fault he's been absolutely sh*t since he signed for us Should probably read one of your own posts then. It's obvious as f*** that his job yesterday was to receive the ball from the defence and start the play from there. If you look at his movement when he's not on the ball, he's constantly showing for it, who else did that yesterday? That's right, absolutely no one. Suppose it's easier though to just look at him being close to West Ham players when they scored and say that he didn't win the tackles and therefore he was s**** instead of actually watching us play. Going to repeat this again, I'm not saying he was great yesterday, but he did the basics of what he was supposed to do. The one that didn't was Colback, who I assume is the one who should be ahead of Anita and pick the ball up from him but was nowhere to be seen except for when he got his daft yellow and when he was jogging back for their second goal. You're wasting your time man, these guys are wondering why a defensive midfielder playing in front of the back four didn't make any forward passes into the opposition penalty area. He did actually win a few good challenges and ping the ball forward in the first half before it all went to s***. Whether he's good enough is a different matter, but I'd be asking that question about a few others before him at this point. Forget last night. He's done nowt since we signed him over 3 years ago, West Ham last season and a canny performance v Southampton this season apart.

Games gone mad when you compare it to what Mitrovic is currently serving a 3 match ban for.

Quite enjoyed watching PSVs counter attacking style. No surprise they equalised whilst Man Utd were enjoying their best spell of the game.

This 100000%. Can't even stand listening to the horrible little b@st@rd.

I knocked back a free ticket for it. No intention whatsoever of going to watch that club play for the foreseeable future. -

What's he talking about?...."I showed him I was black". Did he think Gerrard wouldn't notice like?

Totally agree. The poison from the very top seeps all the way through the club. They can say what they like, Charnley can email the fans as many times as he wants but the anti competitive attitude the current regime have installed in the club is plain for all to see. We know the end game is at least a 17th place finish and the cups are a distraction to that and so do the players. Whoever we buy, for whatever money, that's what will be instilled into them. The good ones will get fed up and leave and we get stuck with the rest. And repeat.

He didn't pass the ball forward and into the box once last night, not once. Which other players passed into the box? Our RB had 3 of our 4 shots because of it. So that is a ridiculous thing to criticise Anita for Of course it isn't. Just because other players aren't doing their jobs properly that doesn't mean we can't criticise Anita for not doing his on a thread entitled "Vernon Anita" ffs! They're all culpable and if you go to the Colback or Sissoko thread you'll see they come in for the same criticism. What a stupid thing to come out with. It's like saying just because he's not Colback we can't pick fault with him when in reality they're both as much to blame as each other for not doing what they're supposed to be doing. They are both as s*** as each other in CM. But if Anita not passing the ball into the box is your biggest grievance with him last night, then something is wrong with the way you analyse football matches. But I never once said it was my biggest grievance of him. I was simply responding to another post. You've just made that up tbh. Normally when you single something out, it's something you yourself, deem to be a problem. Why else would you mention it? I mentioned it in response to a post on the previous page that said at least he passes the ball forward. I replied saying he didn't make a single forward pass into the opposition penalty area. At no point did I say that was my biggest grievance of him. Really not sure how you can't get your head round that. Why would he be making passes into the opposition penalty area if he is the defensive midfielder who is going to spend 80% of the game in his own half? If it was Wijnaldu or Colback you were complaining about I could understand. If I was going to pick a fault with Anita yesterday it would be that he didn't do a good job at man marking Payet, if that was actually his brief. And here's another Anita apologist. If you bothered to watch it last night you would know the pundits also picked up on it. He's doing nothing of note in either half of the pitch. Like I said, pointless player. I was just addressing your point that he made no passes into the opposition penalty area which as the deepest lying midfielder isn't really what he's in the team for. As for the pundits they were having a go at the make up of the central midfield trio, not just Anita specifically. Anita was one of the players they were having a go at. I'm discussing this on the Anita thread. Can't really see the issue you have with this.
