  8. I know Greg has been an active advocate of protest in the past, and I also recognise NUFC twitter isn't equivalent the fanbase - but trivialise it at your peril. Twitter noise and protest is a big part of the conversation if not the lingua franca of the gamete of opinion. I pay towards the trust, the pledge and have organised and participated in protest as part of TMG/LondonMagpies. I was close to jacking it in the other night.
  9. 'I love watching Bruce's style of football and it also complements my hobby of doing other worthwhile things at HT like stapling my scrot to the wall...'
  10. Decided to remain with trust and the pledge. Ultimately, its a good idea on the right side of history, marred by ego. What I do wonder is what do you do in the meantime. Surveys and research is good communication and valuable but what tacit impact is this ultimately going to have?
  11. Fret city bitch. Fretfret city bitch...
  12. I like his deer face dong. Looks a bit sore like.
  13. There’s good people in and applying for the board and they are put in a very difficult position by this.
  14. The trust in principle is a good thing and it should be transparent and democratic. Alex is an intelligent and articulate guy and represents sentiment of fans well in wider media more broadly. Where I depart is this the pledge as the only light and the way idea and the likes of Alex are too close to it. They are also compromised by the success of their fanzine/podcast profile . It’s the most slick and best out there for analysis but ultimately what is there to analyse? It’s the same every week and every season. There’s an irony in terms of introspection because as soon as boycott is mentioned it is a challenge or affront to those who attend and the likes of Alex profile relies on this attendance. I’ve a lot of respect for what they’ve achieved with their profile and the pledge - though if this fundamentalism continues I’ll be packing it in. There’s enough shit about this club to jack it in entirely. Fifth columnism and peoples front of judea tit for tat is almost the nail in the coffin.
  15. Oldminger Go time for Pie Chunderball A view to a shill
  16. It’s a case of the perfect being the enemy of the good. My pledge money is there if it’s needed should we tumble (I don’t believe it’s beyond the realms) and if not the money I would have spent wasting my time following nufc can go to regional charities. Better than pumping my money into this shitshow.

  20. Pardew was an obvious narcissist - any criticism is automatically anyone else’s fault and self-awareness at zero. The perfect flak jacket for him. He was thin skinned but his ego acted like a deflector shield.
  21. (‘Ye just oot to disrail iz’) /
