Astute as he is a selling lee cooper converse knock offs and Lonsdale boxers; he knows fuck all about football, even if he is aiming to keep us at a certain level, the way we're carrying on will just get us relegated.
I'd have volleyed him in the bollocks and stunnered llambias; then processing to crack some stone cold steveweisers together on top of the bar. Y'know play it cool like.
I'd go down happily if it riddled is of their blight. Fuck the premier league if prostituting ourself to a madman and his collective egotism is our only option with which to do it. Not worth it.
This myth that hard work is key to being at the bottom pisses me off too. The teams that develop or display a better quality of football will rise up the table...not aiming to dig in and battle.
Raging after hearing his latest interview. Whining about ego criticism and in the same breath bleating on about how principled and stoic he is. The big twat. Cringe every time he says 'this club' as if he gives a shit or has the first clue about us.
Good read.
Finally people are starting to see where the fans are coming from and that we are not such a demanding bunch after all.
Apart from Leeds being the better one club city because it apparently has 'four times as many people living there'. It always amazes me how many times people misjudge the size of Newcastle. The true size of Newcastle is not simply the number of people living within the small city boundaries but the number of people living in Tyneside as a whole and its immediate surroundings. This means Newcastle is very comparable population wise to Leeds and not one quarter of its size as the article suggests.
I thought that to start with but it made sense within the context of the article. The largest one sport city and how our expectations are no better/worse than another well supported one club city club. Club.
It's a sign of the palliness at the top and the rich boys club. Fuck the fans, fuck grass roots, it's about making cash and selling papers. Football has gone to shit since sky monopolised it.
