Bramble was far better; on his day like. This guy is no footballer in any way. Pure stopper material and at this level he is a non starter.

I'd rather have Perch tbh. I just like players who are comfortable on the ball and seems less likely to panic under pressure.

Probably a Gigg-aton bombshell but the very idea that arsenal are in some sort of crisis. Horrendous.

Hakka's avatar has just sapped any confidence I held -
Aye, right. We've only been disappointing twice this season. I thought this was the Pardew out thread ? I can`t see how Pardew is to blame for Krul making game changing errors, surely that would be down to him or the goal keeping coach ? Williamson being twice as shit as last year if that is possible, Pardew does not control the finances, surely that is Ashleys fault ? Cabaye playing with a groin propblem, did Pardew kick him in it ? Colo getting injured and then after that getting a red ? Pardew again ? Toite for the past few seasons has needed a run of 4-5 games to start performing, hes been injured and suspended. Cisse can`t score without pin point service, without Toite and Cabaye on top form that hasn`t happened. I could go on and on. I just don`t see it as simple as Pardew needs replacing. I see it as a crap summer transfer window, some shit individual errors, bad concentration and a bit of bad luck. Pardew can't be absolved as much as I agree with the comments on investment (A main and major source of our decline) and the role of individuals. Our squad as a whole is capable of producing better; more than a handful of our players have dwindled this season and Pardew and tactics need to be held culpable to a clear degree.

Basically a decent bloke who will give his all; which is ultimately not quite good enough to cut it regularly. Would be fine as some alternate back up further down the pecking order, nothing more.

After sitting itht he stoke fans on weds, watching this should be relatively nice...Can see us getting beat here like for definite. The way they have been playing recently I don't think our tactics will weather such pressure. -
Some sort of 433. Cisse was often out wide on the right. Tiote, Anita and Jonas were more or less central, but Jonas drifted out wide at times. Ba played quite deep for some time too. It was a little bit all over the shop, but it seemed to work ok because the players stepped up a notch from the previous few horror shows. So he finally goes 4-3-3, and has a choice of whether to keep Ba or Cisse central, and guess what it's bloody Cisse who ends up out wide. Pardew's actions in keeping Ba central are so blatent they're almost laughable. Has Ba got photos of Pardew nobbing the Queen or something? Cisse can only play centrally. Putting him anywhere else is just a joke, especially when Ba is reasonably competent as a wide forward. http://images.thevine.com.au/resources/VAR/000/017/an-open-letter-to-her-majesty-the-queen_h.jpg 'Arise Sir Pards, for services to my regal fanny'

Most frustrating time to be a NUFC for me. At least when we got relegated I knew our squad was complete heartless shit.

"You can't doubt your risk-taking, because actually, that's what it affects as a player," said Pardew. "When they say people are struggling with confidence, I always think it's our struggling with risk-taking because you don't take risks, you play safe and sometimes when you play safe, you don't get any reward. "There's a balance between really working hard and risk-taking, and that's what we need to get right at Stoke. http://25.media.tumblr.com/tumblr_m8iupwENNC1qlcuvqo1_250.gif

If you are preparing plans and dossiers of stats on the opposition at the expense of fluidity and the ability to string passes together then something majorly wrong imo.

I think the majority of the problems are down to instruction. Even if he has lost a yard; Jonas looks completely alien to what he used to do before, Cabaye hangs back looking anonymous, Ben Arfa is criminally deep and bears the entire weight of our attacking play, Defensive and conservative substitutions outweigh attacking ones and the alarming rhetoric that comes forward in the uotes mentioned by posters like Wullie. Yes, the players need to turn up and pull a finger out, busting a gut each game. I won't have it like players like Jonas, Colo, Perch, Ben Arfa, Cisse and the hungry young lads that we have, desperate to show their worth, are doing anything. Quality is of course found wanting in many areas but to have such a dire endemic approach, the likes of which we are witnessing. beggars belief without a significant proportion of the blame lying at the feet at the management.

Wigan are playing good football. Wouldn't use that as a great yardstick. Another gutless display against shitehawks like Stoke would be more worrying.
