I'm pretty indifferent. I dont really understand those ho are desperate to have him back? I know there are degrees of 'want' that people will display regarding this proposed transfer but given what happened in the manner it happened I dont see it ending well. If he does I hope he finds the form he has been evidently capable of.

Whether he's alright or not. 16 million for a player that may not start for us is pricey. I don't neccessarily want him forcing either of Ba or Cisse out of the team; who are far and away much more accomplished players.

He's generally dump. Long throw and an eye for a free kick are quite impressive though you have to say.

Perch plays comfortably well in each position hes played in so far. Of course he is a better RB. He has any defensive qualitities that Simpson possesses and none of the frailties in terms of confidence on the ball. I've no qualms in calling that. Simpson had a decent enough game tbh on Saturday despite some silly moments but Perch just oozes calm and confidence whereever hes put....aside from positional sense and intelligent passing.

Damned with faint praise there like...much more assured.

Spurs seemed much sharper from the off though. You can chalk it up to first game teething but it just puzzled me a bit....first half was very laclustre considering how up for the season players must be. It's good that we can play poorly in spells and win and 2nd was worlds apart so I'm of course happy nonetheless.
