Zurab: Sh1te, Harewood: Sh1te, Butt: Sh1te, Geremi: Sh1te, Lovenkrands: Sh1ite, Jonas: can't be arsed ergo sh1te Barton: 'I'm a great player' but no-one understands me. Sh1te I could go on but the good:gash ratio isnt looking too good as it is, is it?

Well...its getting to the stage we're struggling against just as many sides as we've beaten and think we've rode our luck a bit given the threadbare squad. I'll agree we have players who are far and away superior to the general quality of this league but to say we have a team good enough and with enough to be truly sucessful in this league is optimisic...Hope i'm wrong pal. i really do. I do also realise they can play so much better than last night

Upping your game and plenty of huff and puff only get you so far. I think its pretty clear that Nolan has been a shadow of the player he once was at Bolton. Nolan aside, the quality in midfield i still abysmal. Butt? Past it. Smith? Has played well in spells but only really good for kicking people. Geremi. Terrible. Barton? Least said about him the better. Its endemic of the squad. Quality and depth has lacked and thats part of the reason why we are where we are now

Nolan is clearly past it and as a result a poorer footballer. The same with Nicky Butt. I agree things at mangement and board level affect things to a large degree. But to deny the fact we have players in midfield who are woeful seems a tad optimistic. The hat trick in question happened in a game against arguably the poorest side in the league. Fielding past it players such as Geremi, Butt, Nolan and Harewood means a distinct lack of quality is present imo.

You can judge Harewood on what he was like 3/4 years ago, I'll judge him on what he's like now. Rubbish. I'll do the same for Shola - on the evidence of what we've seen of him for NUFC this season, he'll be more dangerous than Harewood and Ranger. I don't think I'm being too outrageous in suggesting so? Agree with both points. Not seen anything of harewood to convince me he's anything other than terrible. Shola was indeed shite for his hat-trick but hopefully provide more goals when he's fit. I really think Ranger needs to start ahead of Harewood as his touch and aerial presence (albeit often flawed) is far superior to anyhthing Harewood has to offer -

Doesn't help bein overshadowed by the best keeper in the premiership for the most part of your career. he's only just gettin a clear run 1st team starts....in the wrong league unfortunately
-
i thought he was nowhere to be seen, especially in the first half. Do you think the invisible man set Harewood up for that chance in the first half like? because creating one chance in 45 minutes justifies someone as being "dangerous"? Think they were both pretty poor to be honest. Harewood was very unlucky to hit the post but he did sweet FA after that

Aye i know its optimistic

Which international player scored eight goals in his native country (including one for the national side) before being signed by a top Premiership side - yet only netted once after his arrival? He was then sold on to another European side where he failed to score at all before being purchased by a different Premiership side where he only managed to find the net once. He was then off-loaded to his third English team, where he failed to score at all. Who is he?
-
a la the Kinks: Well he's not the worlds most talented man But I know sometimes he scores and Im glad that he can And he is Shola Sho-sho-sho-sho Shola.... Sho-sho-sho-sho Shola Shola sho-sho-sho-sho.... Shola Sho-sho-sho-sho Shola
