What's the defensive equivalent of a bagsman?
-
As far as I can tell/be bothered to look, in the 15 games he was on from the start in the PL in 24/25, he got 7 goals 4 assists. He blanked in 6 of the 15 starts. One of the best finishers in the squad - certainly was last season. Hopefully he gets some good opportunities this match. Would like to see him cut inside at the edge of the box and rifle it in the top corner. Does feel like we haven't seen him do that for little while #overdue

Bump Sacked by BBC Good. Terrible pundit and presenter. Also an arsehole. Edit - didn't check SNWOAT

Ben Jacobs says Almiron to Al Shabab.

Certainly was. Weird one.

Surely it won't be announced until 1 July at the earliest - a quick google shows whilst the window slammed open on 14 June 2023 this is for domestic transfers only - international transfers from 1 July 2023. Edit - Serie A window remains slammed shut until 1 July as well. Don't run your transfer baths for another *8* days. Apologies if I've misinterpreted anything - happy to be corrected.

Manchester City vs. Newcastle United: 04/03/23 @ 12:30 (BT Sport)

Honestly, I don't think it's a bad lineup considering the opponents. Gordon and Miggy will be pressing with high energy. This isn't the game for ASM, who I think would be frustrating, if he started. Maybe against tired legs he can come on as a sub and contribute. Wilson might be out of form, but I think he's just a bit tougher than Isak and obviously more experienced against City. Lascelles is a straight swap, we'll see how he gets on. I'm relatively confident, tbh. Wouldn't be surprised if we nicked a result, but expect a draw, or a loss by a small margin. Watch it be 5-0 now I've said that. -
I'll just leave this here. Capt Steak Bakes features heavily. Great twitter acct by the way.

Not sure what happened for you on Sunday, but I managed to stay top when everything finished updating. Had a lucky few weeks. Edit - just realised there's more than one forum league. But... why? Edit 2 - I'd be 7th in the newer one. That's deflating. Well done on 1001! -

Late goal for Liverpool & a _very_ late one for Brighton.

I saw this on the r/NUFC subreddit. I'm on mobile and just copy-pasting, so god knows what the formatting will be like. Anyway - it's Bournemouth fan u/machdel talking about Howe's transfers. Did a quick search. Sorry if Giggs.

'kin hell :-D

Would be delighted. I am concerned that we just don't have the midfield or defence for that, even if Schär is used. Wish we still had Lejeune. If he peddles himself to us hopefully players buy into him quickly and some results can be scraped before essential recruitment in January.

Funny this week! Wor Mandy's face is spot on! He has dipped overall. I remember creasing in the early days - some more recent strips haven't been laugh out loud, for sure. Last week seemed, well, a bit Guardian-y, as if his editor encouraged him heavily. Even if that isn't the case, he's well within his rights to put something like that up, even if he over-egged the pudding, so to speak.

When we got beat off Derby - quite easily - in the only game they won that season, eventually getting relegated with a grand total of 11 points. I was sat behind the goal when Kenny Miller scored. Got back to my car to find I'd got a parking ticket. A relatively early low point in the Ashely regime. Largely downhill from there on in.

There's no way it'll be tomorrow - it is KSA's holy day. It's today or Sunday/Monday.
