  2. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-1059237/Newcastle-United-tycoon-Mike-Ashley-lost-300m-HBOS-bet.html From 2008, and the daily mail (I know) but the headline alone shows that, yeah, Mikey likes a flutter or two. Liking a flutter or two isnt being 'involved in gambling' Nigh on everyone likes a bet tbh. Forgive me, maybe I misunderstood your question? To me, losing £300 million quid in one day on stock market-tracking spread bets is "involved in gambling"...

  7. Charlie Adam to replace Cabaye? http://talksport.com/football/insider-trading-adam-lined-cabaye-replacement-plus-rodrigo-join-arsenal-14012877535? Hope that is utter bollox. Haven't listened as I'm at work. Sorry if EDIT - totally Giggs. Just saw the braindead twitter lies thread. Apologies
  8. Shola appears to have a dog sticking out our his shorts... Excellent spot - like a chocolate-coloured cupcake dog made out of Shola's knee
  9. Errr.... http://www.sportsdirectnews.com/blog/35388-blog-ba-nailed-on-for-return-to-newcastle.php#.UnzE9HDIZSE Speculation, one would assume, considering the source. However, considering the source, worthy of mention. Feck it, if the terms are favourable for the club, I wouldn't be dead against it. Would rather we looked elsewhere, or we got Cisse firing on at least one cylinder. Hope this isn't

    This. Bloody infuriating.

    Alan Pardew

Who said that? Pardew spouting sh!te in this article: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-2404384/Capital-One-Cup-Newcastle-boss-challenges-youngsters-impress-Morecambe.html Does it not make you wonder, Alan, why almost every single player, youngster or otherwise, has failed to get any better under your management? Not entirely sure what he's talking about here: Seems to be negging Dummett for being pleased to have come on as a sub. Just weird. I've given up on making any sense of Pardew's media offerings.
  13. I salute you for putting JFK's interview in the Father Ted universe. Thank you. I'm on my phone and can't be arsed to figure but how to post a picture. Please imagine Father Ted in the episode where he upsets the Chinese and then does a Nazi salute at them out the window.
  14. His best interview so far, but 8 minutes into that extended Kinnear interview the feckin eejit just makes up a word: "I underknow how it'd be frustrating for anyone at the club..." Now I've typed that, it does seem like I'm nit-picking what was overall a good interview. Meh - feck it - he's still a twat and we still haven't signed anyone.

Not to mention Cisse as a winger and Jonas as a footballer

It's.... STABILITY TIME! Algebraic! (this probably does not make a lot of sense, sorry)

    Alan Pardew

Agreed. Although it may be more than the season just gone, and the season coming up that will have to be written off. He's here to stay man

    Alan Pardew

Really? You don't care if the football is crap? That is my principle reason for wanting him gone. The team of players will get my backing, along with the stuff that is clearly going right - scouting and signing players. The manager and coaches will not get any backing from me (whatever that is worth to them - I suspect very little indeed) because I don't applaud failure. The writing is on the wall, and has been for quite some time. Quite why anyone (not referring to you specifically DISOG, I see you have put you wanted him gone) is satisfied with resigning themselves to the desperate hope that Pardew stumbles across some "magic" formula that will negate his inability to manage a football club is beyond me. But each to his own I guess. I'm unsurprised he's staying, but frankly, because it now looks like he will be here for years to come, the future of this club is looking bleak in the extreme. Sad day.
  19. Haha, loving this from the BBC Sunday football live thing: Source: http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/22057265
