Tackling and Work rate - Concentration -

They could be four up but we could have had two as well. 2-0 seems fair.

Prolly an N-O member.

Not bad, tbf. It just pains me how we've conceded the goals. Cheap, shot ourselves in the foot. I admire Santon but he's not been at it this game. Ah, Mancini bumming our right-footed left back once again.
-
Ah f*** it come on lads, I guess that side will at least put in a good shift.

I can see it now. The Dembas harrying to chase long balls all day, draining them for a lost cause. Cisse subbed close to tears, Ba throwing a "get me out of here" face. Just don't see any creativity there at all.
-
If only we could play this lot with last season's team.
-
Jonas attacking winger? Just play Marveaux ffs.
-
Also don't like them for this prediction league as well. Such f***ing goal magnets, the little buggers. Never get any spot-on predictions with them.

Sorry to hear that Dyeyz. Just batter Interpolic on the prediction league this week and you'll feel better. He's like Greece 2004, doesn't deserve owt. I'm sure Ba will save us on Saturday too. Edit: just seen your predictions, mate - not a lot of confidence in the defences of the Premiership, I see! Not a clean sheet in sight!! Thanks for the arm round the shoulder. It's not that I was exaggerating things based on the odds of this game. Everything just hasn't gone to plan this week. A trend started by Pacquiao's KO that soon reverberated on everything else I'm into. Work's become hellish, all my sports teams lost, bad news galore, etc. Aye, I fixed that up. Just realized in previous predictions that I never really predict a lot of clean sheets. Guess I should do that more often. About the game, I just want Marveaux and Anita to get the nod. They're the only source of any flair in our ranks at the moment. It's an 8:30pm here, so I might as well go for it. Might reverse the trend if I actually watch my f***ing team.

This week has certainly been up there as one of my worst weeks ever. And now City come knocking.

8:45 pm here, perfect start to gonna be a sleepless saturday night. About time the asia side got some love after the thursday and monday night games. FYP. Oh, and in a lighter note, we seem to be from the same timezone.

I just cannot wait till he has his ideal partner in Taylor again. I doubt even Kompany would relish in playing beside a partner whose confidence is shot to bits at times. Although I believe that Willo does seem to improve after any fatal blunder he commits. Could it be a case of fear of failure being washed away once it happens?

Didn't notice it, but fair point which could explain his loss of attacking play. He was actually beginning to look decent at the back end of Jose's last season. He began learning how to cross and nabbing some assists, but that seemed to change when Jose left. Makes me crave for a quality left-footed fullback all of a sudden. Also noticeable is how he never again partnered a leftie of the same defensive soundness as Jose.
-
Plus his crossing's rather limited. You never see him whip it in with pace and bend to cause trouble. Always lofted and tame, as if he renamed hoofing "crossing".

There's nowhere now in my opinion. He might benefit from playing less and being fresher. Aye. From the positions we've seen him play, he just lacks at least one thing crucial for such roles. Attacking Winger - He's lost a mile of pace, plus he never had the technique or skill to become an excellent one. Defensive Winger - Probably best, but again, he doesn't have that speed and sharpness as before. Central Midfield - Doesn't require pace, and Jonas has good work ethic. Now, can he pass? That's another story. Defensive Midfield - Works hard, but he doesn't have that grit and tackle in him to become a fully effective one. Probably his second best though. Full back - There's a reason why only Diego has believed in him as a fullback. In short, he's not got the pace or technique to play out wide, the passing to play central, nor the tackling to play a fully defensive role. Real shame that he's lacking in at least one area of each role because I really admire him as a professional.

van Persie.

3 so far.

When was the last time we actually picked up points here? All I associate this fixture with is not turning up.

I'd find it absolutely awkward like if I were in a host city and my national team's playing somewhere else.
